Position Summary:

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer – Full Stack & AI Innovation with strong hands-on experience in TypeScript (Node.js, JavaScript), and/or Python and a passion for leveraging AI-driven code generation tools to accelerate development. You will play a critical role in operationalizing GenAI-based code generation platform. This role involves translating product specifications into structured inputs for GenAI tools, reviewing the code generated by GenAI tool, and providing feedback to product engineering team to improve quality and performance of the GenAI tool.

The Role

Addepar has just launched an Alternatives Product offering that gives Addepar clients the option to have their Private Funds data extracted, processed, validated, and ingested directly from Private Fund documents for a more automated end-to-end solution for handling Alternatives on the platform. This white-glove solution combines proprietary machine learning technology that automatically extracts data from Private Funds documents and human-in-loop review to validate any documents that fail to pass confidence and data quality checks. 

As part of the broader Addepar Data organization, the Alternatives Data Ops team is responsible for the human-in-loop review of Private Funds documents, ensuring clients’ Alternatives data is processed, validated, and available in Addepar in a timely manner. This role will include reviewing Private Fund statements, modifying data that has been incorrectly extracted by our machine learning models, and reprocessing the data within SLAs. The Alternatives Data Ops team plays a critical role in the success of Addepar’s Alternatives offering and requires daily communications with the Alternatives Product Team, Machine Learning Operations, clients, data providers (GPs and Fund Admins), and additional personnel across the organization.

We're looking for a Product Manager to own and drive automation within our detection and mitigation systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable Python applications focused on GenAI
• Knowledge of Snowflake Cortex is a big plus.
• Learn and apply techniques like document chunking and embeddings
• Proficient in both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases, including schema design and optimization.
• Design, develop, and fine-tune applications built around foundation models (e.g., LLMs, multimodal models) for specific business needs
• Implement and experiment with generative AI techniques, including but not limited to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and prompt engineering
• Lead the implementation of intelligent autonomous agents and multi-agent systems capable of complex decision-making, task execution, and interaction with external systems
• Utilize and contribute to agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, Crew AI) to build robust and scalable AI agents
• Develop and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) solutions to standardize how AI applications access and utilize external data sources, tools, and real-time information
• Lead the development of full-stack applications that integrate generative AI models and agentic systems, ensuring seamless user experiences
• Work with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Python with Flask/Django/FastAPI, Node.js, Go)
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and microservices to expose AI functionalities
• Deploy, manage, and optimize AI/ML workloads and full-stack applications on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Implement LLMOps/MLOps and DevOps best practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
• Follow coding best practices and contribute to testing and documentation
