Resolve to Save Lives’ Cardiovascular Health (CVH) unit works closely with Ministries of Health and other partners to save as many lives as possible from cardiovascular disease. Recently, RTSL has expanded our cardiovascular health work to incorporate lead poisoning prevention.

Position Summary

Lead poisoning negatively affects children and can cause severe and irreversible health effects, including cognitive impairment, behavioral problems, and developmental delays. Recent studies have estimated an enormous burden of cardiovascular disease from lead exposures, as many as 3.5 million deaths annually. RTSL is working with the World Health Organization (WHO) on a technical package for lead poisoning prevention and plans to launch the package around the World Health Assembly in 2027.

RTSL is seeking four consultants to support the development of the four modules. Each consultant should have demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas of lead expertise:

1. Blood lead data, surveillance and epidemiologic/clinical response to chemical events
2. Environmental source investigation and remediation
3. Industrial and occupational lead use, hazards, and safety
4. Lead adulteration of consumer products and supply chains

These areas of expertise will each form the content of technical package modules. Core activities of the consultancy include leading the development of modules of the technical package, including updating systematic reviews where relevant; systematically searching the literature and compiling evidence to support key actions and interventions; mapping key stakeholders and ongoing efforts in the lead sector; drafting outlines and the text of the module itself, and responding to edits and input from RTSL, peer review experts, WHO, and end users. 

Core Tasks and Activities

Literature review and synthesis:

• Where existing systematic reviews align with the contents of the module and are out of date, update the systematic review using the same search criteria.
• Where standards for lead content, regulations, reporting, or other relevant criteria exist relevant to a given module, conduct a systematic, narrative, and/or scoping review to assess the landscape of standards available.
• Using a systematic approach, assess relevant peer-reviewed and gray literature databases to synthesize existing evidence to guide development of practical, implementable technical package modules.
• Summarize existing literature, stakeholders, interventions, and effectiveness.

Writing and reviewing:

• Review and revise outlines of the modules to align with key actions, length limits, key deadlines, and other criteria as outlined by the RTSL and WHO teams.
• Draft sections of the modules following finalized outlines
• Review comments and edits on outlines and full text from RTSL and WHO team, peer reviewers, partners, end users, and other experts, and respond to requested changes in a timely manner.

Expert engagement:

• Engage with experts, peer reviewers, end users, RTSL, and WHO to present module content and receive live feedback as needed.

Internal engagement:

• Engage with RTSL regularly for feedback on literature reviews, outlines, and modules, in an in-person convening (with the potential for up to 3 additional sessions) for deeper strategic sessions focused on drafting and finalizing products.

Contract Deliverables

• Updated systematic reviews as applicable
  • As applicable, published manuscripts of updated systematic reviews (secondary priority)
• Landscape mapping specific to the lead topic to reflect relevant findings from systematic reviews; module-specific stakeholders and decision makers; related case studies/country examples of policies and regulations, mitigation measures and interventions; critical knowledge gaps; and relevant resources and tools.

Contract Management

The Independent Contractor will submit all deliverables to the Senior Technical Advisor, Lead Poisoning Prevention, CVH, who will manage this contract and monitor progress toward the deliverables.

Expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Blood lead data, surveillance and epidemiologic/clinical response to chemical events. Example areas of expertise:

• Expertise in analyzing and interpreting blood lead level data, drawing epidemiologic inferences, and prioritizing sources

The National Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) is a digital-first storyteller responsible for producing high-impact weather and news content across social, digital, and network platforms. 

The MMJ operates as a fully independent content producer — responsible for pitching, shooting, writing, editing, and delivering content with speed and accuracy, often without additional field or production support. Success in this role depends on the ability to prioritize visual storytelling in the field, capture compelling video under pressure, and quickly turn that content into digital-first stories. 

Approximately 80% of the role is focused on digital production from a home base, with 20% dedicated to field deployment during severe weather and major weather-related events. 

Field assignments are high-intensity and may involve multiple consecutive days in the field, long hours (often 12–16+ hour days), and rapidly changing conditions during active weather or disaster coverage. The frequency and duration of these deployments are driven by weather patterns and can vary throughout the year. Deployments are often determined quickly, may require short-notice travel, and require immediate availability. 

This position plays a critical role in AccuWeather’s strategy to lead coverage during high-impact weather and consistently produce engaging digital content year-round. 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Produce digital-first video content designed for social and mobile platforms, prioritizing strong hooks, clear storytelling, and high engagement 

• Pitch and develop original story ideas aligned with daily digital priorities and content categories 

• Shoot, write, and edit video independently using Adobe Premiere, delivering both short-form and long-form content 

• Operate as a solo field reporter during severe weather and breaking news events, capturing b-roll, conducting interviews, and delivering live or recorded reports 

• Be available for rapid deployment during severe weather events and breaking news coverage, often with little advance notice, and deliver content under tight timelines in dynamic field conditions and work extended hours in the field 

• Prioritize capturing compelling, real-time visuals in the field, including storm footage, damage, and human impact 

• Turn quick-hit digital videos under tight deadlines, as well as fully produced packages (60–120 seconds) 

• Conduct on-the-ground interviews and produce character-driven storytelling from impacted communities 

• Adapt content for multiple platforms, including vertical, square, and horizontal formats 

• Collaborate with producers, editors, and the digital team to refine content for performance and accuracy

Required 

• BA or BS from accredited university in journalism, communications and/or meteorology preferred

• Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit video independently in the field

We're looking for a Production Operations Manager (AI & Automation) who thinks in systems, builds with urgency, and gets genuinely excited about using AI to make creative teams faster and smarter.

This is not a "document the process" role. It's a "design, build, and ship the process" role.

You'll own the operational backbone of our production team - designing workflows, building internal tools, eliminating friction, and using modern AI to scale how we work. You'll sit at the intersection of sales, production, and creative, making sure every project moves from deal close to final delivery without dropped balls or wasted motion.

A week in this role might look like: auditing a handoff breakdown between sales and production, building an automation in Monday.com to surface at-risk projects before they slip, prototyping a brief intake tool using Claude or Bolt, and running a resourcing review to align talent to the next sprint of incoming work.

What You'll Do

Production Operations

• Own and continuously improve the handoff process between Sales and Production — ensuring scopes, briefs, timelines, and expectations are locked before creative work begins
• Build and maintain scalable production workflows supporting high-volume output across static, video, animation, and interactive formats
• Design a standardized resourcing process that matches creative talent to projects and prevents bottlenecks before they happen
• Develop and maintain a polished client onboarding process — covering asset delivery, approvals, communication norms, and project expectations
• Identify friction points across the production pipeline and implement durable solutions, not workarounds

Workflow Automation & Internal Tools

• Use AI tools — including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Zapier, Bolt, Make, n8n, and similar platforms — to build internal tools, automations, and workflow improvements
• Reduce manual overhead by developing automation across production workflows and internal systems
• Build dashboards and automation inside Monday.com that give real-time visibility into workload, capacity, and project status
• Develop and maintain internal systems: live production calendars, capacity trackers, and operational dashboards

Operational Infrastructure

• Keep internal systems clean, accurate, and accessible so production data can actually be trusted
• Create documentation and training materials that help teams adopt new tools without friction
• Provide leadership with regular reporting on operational health, workflow efficiency, and production performance
• Support margin visibility and project-level operational insights

Business Operations

• Partner with leadership to identify operational opportunities that expand service offerings
• Manage internal department expenses and approve freelancer invoices within project budgets
• Help build the operational foundation that scales with CRAFTSMAN+ as we grow

What We're Looking For

You are a systems thinker with a builder's bias - someone who sees a broken process and immediately starts designing the fix.

• 3–5 years in production operations, project management, or producer roles within a creative agency, marketing studio, or production environment
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate workflows, prototype internal tools, or improve operations — not just familiarity, but actual shipped work
• Deep understanding of creative production pipelines across digital marketing, motion, video, or interactive media
• Experience building workflows in Monday.com, Asana, Notion, or similar platforms
