The Standards Management Team is responsible for evolving B Lab’s Standards (approximately every 3 to 5 years) to incorporate best practices and be best-in-class.
More specifically, this means (1) creating, managing, and innovating standards and performance related products developed by B Lab, including the content of the B Impact Assessment, B Corp Certification performance requirements, and other potential products; (2) maintaining and building the integrity and credibility of the B Movement, and (3) supporting and educating stakeholders, internal and external, on important topics and debates related to all of the above.
The Standards Management Team engages directly with B Lab’s Standards Advisory Council (SAC), which is an independent governing body established to offer advice, support, and recommendations to B Lab on its Standards.
The Senior Manager, Social Standards will play a specialist role supporting the ongoing application of the existing B Lab Standards within their domain, lead on the development of future updates to the Standards, and bring their expertise to support relevant collective action efforts within the B Corp movement and its partners to help businesses improve their performance on the social topics. By bringing existing expertise and liaising with other relevant expert stakeholders and organizations, the Senior Manager will:
This role is lined-managed by the Director of Standards, and the person holding this role will work with colleagues and stakeholders around the world. Depending on needs and budget availability over time, this role may also oversee direct reports in the future.

The Standards Management Team is responsible for evolving B Lab’s Standards (approximately every 3 to 5 years) to incorporate best practices and be best-in-class.

The Senior Manager, Social Standards will play a specialist role supporting the ongoing application of the existing B Lab Standards within their domain, lead on the development of future updates to the Standards, and bring their expertise to support relevant collective action efforts within the B Corp movement and its partners to help businesses improve their performance on the social topics. We need a Managing Director of Technology to own the technical side of the house as we scale Human Agency. Lead technical delivery for enterprise clients. You’re the most senior technical person in the room on our biggest engagements. You decide what’s feasible, design the architecture, and make sure it ships. When a client executive asks “can we do this?” — you’re the one who answers.
Build how we deliver, not just what we deliver. One client engagement works because of talented people and brute effort. Ten engagements work because of systems. You design the repeatable model — how we scope, staff, build, and deploy — so the team can run engagements without you in every meeting. That means building discovery frameworks, reference architectures, deployment templates, and evaluation routines that actually get used.
Hire and develop the engineering team. You set the bar, own the pipeline, and make the calls on who joins. We need people who can build with high autonomy in ambiguous environments, and you know how to find them. You also know how to make good engineers better through architecture guidance, code review, and honest feedback.
Own platform and infrastructure decisions. Build vs. buy, tooling, deployment, security — you make the calls. A Principal Engineer handles day-to-day infrastructure execution; you set priorities and architectural direction.
Shape our AI strategy through the lens of what actually ships. You have real opinions on LLM orchestration, RAG, agents, evaluation, and fine-tuning — formed by building things, not reading about them. You decide which technical bets we make and which we skip, based on what creates value for clients, not what looks good on a slide.
Bonus points for: you’ve scaled a startup or early-stage company before — built the team, built the systems, lived through the growing pains; experience in a services or consultancy model (SOWs, staffing, client delivery); a network of engineers you’ve worked with and would hire again.

As a Senior Data Scientist at Perpay, you will be a critical player in the day-to-day success of the business, supporting new and existing product initiatives through strong analytical skills and machine learning expertise. In addition, you will be responsible for helping shape the future of the data science team by developing processes and systems that scale with our rapidly growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the execution of Perpay’s mission and the lives of our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about all aspects of data science: from machine learning and exploratory data analysis to communication of results and real-time deployments. This crucial role will sit on our data science team and report to the Data Science Manager.
