Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
Anthropic’s model weights and training infrastructure are among the highest-value targets in the technology sector, facing nation-state, supply-chain interdiction, and insider threats that conventional enterprise security programs were not built to address. As Commercial Counsel, Infrastructure Security for Compute and Infrastructure at Anthropic, you’ll be the day-to-day legal partner to the Chief Security Officer’s infrastructure-security and the Governance, Risk and Compliance teams. You will own the contractual and regulatory layer of physical and facility security, hardware and supply-chain security, network security, vendor personnel and insider-risk flow-downs, and security regulatory and assurance.
You’ll work in close partnership with Anthropic teammates in Frontier, Product, Litigation, Employment, and Commercial Legal, in addition to specialized outside counsel. You will serve as the primary legal owner ensuring security requirements are in the contract before signature and that external work product aligns with Anthropic’s security posture and commercial objectives.
Draft and negotiate security design-basis and site-hardening specifications in build-to-suit, lease, and colo agreements (perimeter, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection); guard-force statements of work, post orders, and KPI regimes; visitor, contractor, and badging policy; and security clauses in shared-campus and multi-tenant arrangements
Own provenance, anti-tamper, and chain-of-custody warranties in silicon, ODM, and OEM paper; trusted-supplier and country-of-origin restrictions; NDAA §889/§5949 and CHIPS-Act guardrail flow-downs; BIS/EAR advanced-computing and semiconductor export-control flow-downs and end-use/end-user certifications; firmware integrity, secure-boot, and golden-image escrow terms; secure logistics; counterfeit-part and grey-market controls; and secure decommissioning and certified media-destruction terms
Draft security schedules in carrier and fiber agreements (encryption-in-transit, route integrity, lawful-intercept handling), and security obligations in peering agreements
Set background-screening, training, and badge-revocation requirements for vendor and contractor personnel with site or hardware access, and flow Anthropic personnel-security standards into guard-force, security-integrator, and EPC vendor MSAs
Support CFIUS and outbound-investment screening on infrastructure vendors and sites, provide NIST/ISO/SOC 2 physical-control evidence for customer and auditor assurance in partnership with security teams; and support security representations in customer contracts that reference physical infrastructure with Commercial Legal
Work closely with specialized outside counsel, ensuring their work product aligns with Anthropic’s security and commercial objectives
Build the function: develop and maintain the security-schedule library, design-basis templates, advise on vendor security questionnaire templates, and negotiation playbooks; train Procurement, Datacenter, and Network teams to apply them at scale
Serve as direct counsel to the CSO’s infrastructure-security organization, coordinating with Product Legal and Litigation on incident response, threat intelligence, law-enforcement and intelligence-community engagement, insider-threat governance, and model-weight security policy under Anthropic’s Responsible Scaling Policy
Escalate novel structures or terms that create downstream risk for Anthropic’s security posture or operational flexibility; ensure security requirements accommodate AI-specific threats including hardware tamper, supply-chain interdiction, and high-value-target facility risk
Monitor and assess the evolving regulatory landscape affecting security and data protection, identifying higher-risk obligations for the business and partnering with security to operationalize them through policies, controls, and compliance programs
Advise on risk assessments, risk acceptance decisions, and reporting to leadership and the board; and review remediation commitments arising from assessments, customer audits and regulator inquiries.
JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
Fluency in security design-basis specifications, guard-force and access-control contracting, and how security schedules interact with build-to-suit, colo, procurement, and carrier agreements
Experience with NDAA §889/§5949, CHIPS-Act guardrails, CFIUS/outbound-investment screening, and trusted-supplier or country-of-origin programs
Comfort with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 physical-control frameworks and the evidence and attestation process that supports customer and auditor assurance
Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal legal teams, and specialized outside counsel while maintaining strategic direction
Strong judgment about when contractual security terms create downstream risk for Anthropic’s security posture, audit position, or operational flexibility
Effective collaboration skills for working with the CSO’s organization, procurement, datacenter, and network teams
Communication skills that translate security and supply-chain-integrity concepts into clear risk assessments for business stakeholders
Genuine interest in infrastructure security and appreciation for why physical, hardware, and network security is mission-critical for frontier AI
At least 10-12 years of relevant legal experience with meaningful exposure to physical and facility security contracting, hardware and supply-chain security, network security schedules, or security regulatory and assurance work for critical infrastructure
In-house experience at cloud service providers, hyperscalers, defense and aerospace primes, telecom carriers, utilities, semiconductor companies, or datacenter operators supporting physical-security, supply-chain-security, or security-assurance programs; or U.S. government experience at DoD, DHS/CISA, BIS, or CFIUS staff
Experience at large technology companies with first-party datacenter or hardware programs supporting security contracting from the buy side
Law firm experience at practices with national-security, supply-chain, or critical-infrastructure specialization, particularly those who have worked on NDAA §889, CFIUS, or trusted-supplier matters
Prior involvement in transactions requiring sophisticated understanding of secure logistics, chain-of-custody, firmware integrity, and certified media destruction
Familiarity with CCTV/biometrics privacy regimes, executive-protection contracting, and the contractual layer of insider-risk programs
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
Role-specific policy: For this role, we expect staff to be able to work from our San Francisco, Seattle, Washington D.C., or New York office at least 3 days a week, though we encourage you to apply even if you might need some flexibility for an interim period of time.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
Anthropic’s mission requires the ability to defend our compute resources against all types of adversaries. Meeting that bar requires more than trustworthy hardware, it requires a software stack to consume the trust primitives the platform produces: device identities, attestation evidence, integrity manifests, DICE chains, topology claims, debug-state assertions, encryption posture, etc.
This role makes sure that all the security-relevant system state that needs to be attested to is properly accounted for in a robust and comprehensive manner, and used appropriately for authorization decisions in production.
You will be the technical owner of Anthropic's platform trust integration surface, the host-side stack that ingests trust primitives produced by hardware and converts them into production gates for workloads. Concretely:
This is an IC engineering role not a PM role. You will write code, own services, and be accountable for the correctness of Anthropic's platform trust pipeline in production. You'll operate at the interface between Platform Security Engineering and the rest of Anthropic.

At RADAR, we're transforming the way the world thinks about physical retail. RADAR has raised over $104M from top investors, retailers, and strategics and works with some of the world's retail brands including American Eagle and Gap. We’re building the future of in-store experience where every product and every person can be precisely located in real time.
Our platform combines RFID and AI to unlock hyper-accurate product visibility and automation at scale. From real-time inventory tracking to seamless checkout experiences, our technology empowers some of the world’s largest retailers to streamline operations, reduce loss, and elevate both employee and customer experiences.
We’re a fast-growing, mission-driven startup where bold ideas, collaboration, and impact are at the core of everything we do. Join us as we reshape the physical world with digital precision, starting with retail and expanding far beyond!
This role owns one of RADAR's core product domains: either the platform layer that enables retailers to deploy and integrate RADAR's sensing infrastructure, or the shopper-facing product surface that translates real-time inventory data into in-store conversion outcomes. The scope spans technical platform work (APIs, data contracts, system reliability, retailer onboarding tooling) and applied ML features (behavioral inference, event detection, real-time classification).
The work is cross-functional by nature. It requires enough technical depth to have credible conversations about data pipelines, model behavior, and integration architecture, and enough operational grounding to work effectively with the teams responsible for deploying proprietary hardware into live retail environments.
At RADAR, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The expected base salary range for this position is $140,000-$200,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including: equity, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life and disability benefits, 401k plan, flexible time off, and paid parental leave. The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
Research has shown that women & underrepresented minorities are more likely to read lists of requirements and consider themselves unqualified if they don't meet every single one. This list represents what we're ideally looking for, but everyone has unique strengths & weaknesses, and we hire for strength & potential, not lack of weakness.
Use of artificial intelligence or a LLM such as ChatGPT during the interview process will be grounds for rejection of your application process.

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
Anthropic's Infrastructure organization is foundational to our mission of developing AI systems that are reliable, interpretable, and steerable. The systems we build determine how quickly we can train new models, how reliably we can run safety experiments, and how effectively we can scale Claude to millions of users — demonstrating that safe, reliable infrastructure and frontier capabilities can go hand in hand.
Node Infra owns the full lifecycle of accelerator capacity at Anthropic. We ingest and provision compute from all major CSPs and our own datacenters, stand up and scale clusters from thousands to hundreds of thousands of hosts, and build the health, diagnostics and repair automation that keep every GPU, TPU and Trainium node in the fleet usable and ready to power Anthropic’s frontier AI research.
Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings.

Anthropic is expanding beyond cloud infrastructure, and this role sits at the heart of that effort. As a Staff Engineer on the Datacenter Server Lifecycle team, you will own the end-to-end operational journey of every machine in our facility — from initial provisioning and deployment, across its working life, through maintenance and refresh, and all the way to decommissioning. This is greenfield work: you will help define the processes, tooling, and operational standards that govern how we run and retire hardware at scale.
A distinguishing aspect of this role is its deep intersection with security. The machines in our datacenter handle some of the most sensitive workloads in AI — training frontier models and serving millions of users interacting with Claude. Ensuring that every machine in the fleet is trusted, attested, and operating with a verified chain of integrity from the hardware up is a core part of the job, not an afterthought. You will partner closely with our Infrastructure Security team to define and enforce trusted compute standards across the lifecycle, from secure provisioning through end-of-life handling.

- Identify and implement opportunities where AI can replace or augment manual operational processes.
Cross-Team Partnership
- Partner with HPC Engineering, Network Engineering, and other teams to align operations with research and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

Sage is on a mission to improve care and quality of life for older adults, starting with those residing in senior living facilities. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults over 65. And yet, fall prevention and emergency response systems for older adults are archaic and ineffective. At Sage we've built a more modern way of understanding when older adults need help, including methods for residents to alert caregivers when in need of help, and corresponding software for caregivers to triage response. Our company mission is to create a product that our client counterparts love, and this role is a key part of that objective.
Sage is a small, tight team of ambitious, multi-disciplinary entrepreneurs. We are a software-enabled, mission-driven company, and are focused only on the problems that are central to achieving that mission. At Sage, we work hard and fast but also know that to build a truly important company, we need to treat our work as a marathon, and not a sprint. The journey matters.
About this Role
We are looking for a Senior/Staff Security Engineer to own and advance the security posture of our platform as we scale. You will be the dedicated security practitioner on the engineering team, responsible for hardening our cloud and edge infrastructure, driving compliance programs, building vulnerability management and incident response capabilities, and embedding security into the software development lifecycle.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the Engineering Manager of Cloud and Security. You will work across AWS and GCP environments, partner closely with product engineering and platform teams, and have direct impact on Sage's ability to earn and maintain customer trust. Success in this role requires deep technical security skills, comfort operating across a broad surface area, and a bias toward practical, risk-proportionate solutions over checkbox compliance.

While we are an in office culture, we allow up to 2 remote days per week.
Our benefits package for employees includes competitive base compensation along with stock options. The expected annual salary range for this role is $190,000-240,000 USD, depending upon the job level, which will depend on your level of expertise, your experience, and your qualifications. We also provide fully-paid health and dental insurance coverage for all of our employees, along with other health benefits including vision insurance, membership to premium primary and urgent care, and online medical health providers. We also have a take as you need time off policy, in addition to 7 paid holidays and a company wide winter break during the holidays.

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
As part of Anthropic’s Global Safety, Intelligence, and Security (GSIS) team, the Security Technology Deployment Specialist will own the validation, standardization, and deployment of physical security technology across Anthropic’s rapidly expanding global office portfolio. This role bridges the gap between technology selection and production-ready operation — ensuring that every security platform deployed is rigorously tested, properly integrated with enterprise infrastructure, fully documented, and built for scale.
You’ll define the installation standards, configuration baselines, and deployment processes that the broader team executes against — from access control migrations and intercom replacements to AI analytics onboarding and new application integrations. You’ll work across InfoSec, IT, Networking, and Identity Management to ensure every security application passes review, integrates with SSO, and is supported within Anthropic’s infrastructure before going live. Your work will directly determine whether Anthropic’s security technology stack scales reliably as the company grows from dozens of locations to a global enterprise footprint.
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.
