What you’ll do

• Support monthly reporting and create meaningful KPI analyses for management and business teams
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting and business planning activities
• Prepare presentations and ad-hoc analyses that help steer the business
• Improve reporting processes, data quality and financial systems together with the FP&A team

What you’ll bring

• Experience in FP&A, Controlling, or a similar Finance role
• Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with financial and business data
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with PowerQuery, PowerPivot or similar
• Planning tools like OneStream would be a plus
• Structured, hands-on and solution-oriented way of working

THE OPPORTUNITY

Does owning and scaling an internal data and analytics platform that powers decision-making across the organization appeal to you? 

In this role, you will lead the evolution of our internal data and analytics platform — from both a technical and product perspective. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to define priorities, shape the platform roadmap, and ensure teams have reliable, trustworthy data to make informed decisions. 

This is a player-coach role combining leadership, platform ownership, and hands-on execution. You will guide and coordinate a small team of data engineers while remaining deeply involved in pipeline design, data modeling, source integrations, and analytics delivery. You will help define how the organization uses data today and build the foundation for how it will use data in the future. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Own data quality standards, metric definitions, and data contracts to ensure reliable and trustworthy data 

• Guide and coordinate a small data engineering team, providing technical guidance, test data integration, and day-to-day direction 

• Design and contribute hands-on to ELT pipelines, data models, and source integrations across the platform 

• Drive the ongoing Databricks migration from both a technical and product perspective 

• Own the platform roadmap and OKRs in collaboration with senior leadership 

• Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and the business and translate business needs into platform improvements, pipeline initiatives, dashboards, and analytics outputs 

• Establish and manage a clear intake and prioritization process for platform and analytics requests 

• Drive platform adoption through documentation, demos, and enablement activities 

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, data platform ownership, or related technical leadership roles 

• Experience leading or mentoring small engineering or analytics teams in a hands-on environment 

• Strong SQL skills and practical experience designing and maintaining ELT pipelines and data models 

• Experience working with modern data platforms and warehouses, including Databricks and related tooling 

• Hands-on experience with source integrations, orchestration workflows, and data quality management 

• Experience building dashboards, analytics outputs, and data solutions for diverse technical and business stakeholders 

• Strong product and platform mindset with the ability to prioritize based on impact, usability, and stakeholder value 

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts, trade-offs, and priorities clearly 

• Fluency in English as it is our official language of communication across the company

Job Summary:

Real Chemistry is looking for a  Group Account Director to join our brand new office in Munich. This is a really exciting position for someone who wants to help shape our German offering across Integrated Communications as we build further into the European and German local markets – someone who’s keen to help build out our local business and capabilities and be at the forefront of our expansion into EMEA.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple client engagements of varying sizes in a fast-paced environment
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional stakeholder management skills
• Seamlessly flex between big picture strategic development/ad hoc guidance, and getting stuck in to assure execution of associated tactics are flawless
• Guide clients on integrated marketing/communications decisions, identifying new opportunities to increase visibility of their brand including consultative selling
• Develop high-level and persuasive communications plans (annual, quarterly, etc.)
• Lead operational efforts and be accountable for the financial performance of engagements through close management of budgets and team members
• Ensure the quality of the account team(s) is held to the highest standard and that all client requests are handled in a strategic and timely manner
• Partner with shared service leads to run and grow integrated business (social media/digital, creative, analytics)
• Uncover, lead and support new business opportunities

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience within the healthcare communications space
• Experience leading healthcare communications accounts both at a local German market level and on global and regional level
• Experience in strategy development and execution of global programs, as well as local implementation in the German market
• In-depth understanding of industry regulations in Germany
• Excellent business communication skills in both English and German language (proficient level expected) including informal/formal presentation and writing skills; this includes confident public speaking both internally and externally with clients, vendors, and affiliates
• Ability to work within and lead cross-functional teams internally across multiple locations
• Develop multi-faceted, multi-channel and multi-market strategies and campaigns to deliver against business objectives and strategic imperatives
• Work with analyst teams to identify key client KPIs, develop measurement and learning plans that communicate program performance and reveal opportunities to increase success
• Ability to relay high science of clinical trials or products to audiences with different levels of knowledge
• Ability to support and drive new business operations alone and as part of bigger team

About the Position

Germany has world-class quantitative and engineering talent, and we want to be where that talent is. We are planning on opening an office in the Munich area and looking for someone to lead the buildout on the ground — someone who has done enough in their career to know how organizations work, how to get things moving in Germany specifically, and how to represent a high-caliber firm to skeptical, in-demand candidates. At the initial stage, this role will be engaged through our local Employer of Record partner. 

What You’ll Do

• Own hiring strategy and implementation for quant developers and researchers in the Munich area, working alongside the recruiting team in Stamford

• Coordinate the physical and operational setup of the office with US-based leadership and functional teams

• Represent Trexquant at hiring events, in meetings, and in direct conversations with candidates and partners in the German talent market

• Keep global teams informed with clear reporting on progress, hiring pipeline, and milestones

• Coordinate with company legal and compliance staff to follow local and global requirements for positive development and growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in operations, strategy, consulting, recruiting, business development, or a comparable role where you had real responsibility and delivered results

• Understanding of the German business environment — hiring practices, employment law basics, cultural expectations — either from working in Germany or operating across European markets

• Comfortable being the most senior person in the room locally while taking strategic direction from headquarters

• Presence and credibility to attract strong technical candidates to a firm they may not have heard of yet

• Genuine interest in quantitative finance and technical organizations, even if your background is not in trading

• Fluent in German and English

You’ll lead detection and incident response across corporate IT and SaaS environments, working hand-in-hand with Service Delivery, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, and our Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
