As a Vehicle Systems Engineering Intern your key area of responsibility will be to gain access to vehicles both in person and remotely across the world, to reverse engineer vehicular systems. This includes electrical, hardware and communications systems, protocols and legislation. In the past, students have developed software tools in C# and python, built big data dashboards using Google Big Query, reverse engineered vehicles from scratch using our in house CAN analysis software, helped diagnose vehicle issues… the list goes on! You will need to work closely with all development teams across Geotab and implement new initiatives across Big Data, Firmware, Software/ Mobile development and Hardware teams.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.

Define and champion SLO/SLI/error-budget frameworks across engineering teams, providing architectural guidance on service-level objective implementation.
Serve as a senior escalation point during critical incidents, leveraging deep observability expertise to accelerate diagnosis and resolution.
Provide architectural mentorship and technical guidance to Observability Engineers and SRE team members.
5-8 years of experience in Observability Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform/Infrastructure Engineering.
Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Mastery of the OpenTelemetry ecosystem and expert-level knowledge of Prometheus-compatible metrics systems (VictoriaMetrics, Thanos, etc.).

Expert-level knowledge of Cloud Computing, containerization and kubernetes (GCP preferred) as well as experience with SaaS, Software Development.
Lifecycle (SDLC), security, CI/CD and risk management best practices.
Subject Matter Expertise in Security Compliance Frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and FedRAMP.
Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications like CISSP, CKA, CKS or Cloud certifications are highly valued.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization and contribute to publications/whitepapers.
Strong team-player with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working independently in a flat, remote-friendly organization.

Summary of Job:
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) – Rare Disease is a critical commercial role responsible for expanding the diagnosed patient population and driving appropriate treatment initiation through education-driven, data-informed field engagement. This role is designed to complement existing Regional Business Manager (RBM) coverage by placing primary emphasis on new and earlier patient identification, diagnostic pathway enablement, and referral network activation.
In rare disease markets, where growth is driven by patient identification rather than market share shifts, the Regional Account Manager focuses on uncovering diagnostic gaps, enabling earlier disease recognition, and ensuring appropriate handoff of qualified patient opportunities to RBMs for treatment initiation and account execution. The RAM serves as a field integrator across the local ecosystem and works in close collaboration with Regional Business Managers and relevant cross-functional partners

The anticipated salary for this position will be $185,500 to $202,000. The actual salary offered for this role at commencement of employment may vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, education (including applicable licenses and certifications, job-based knowledge, location, and other business and organizational needs.
