The Monolith AI Engineering Team at CoreWeave is responsible for building and scaling the core platform that powers the world’s most advanced engineering simulation and AI workflows — our ambition is to become the super‑intelligent AI test lab for the engineering industry, helping customers “ship science, faster.” From evolving distributed architecture to enabling the next generation of agentic interfaces and physical AI, this team delivers the performant, reliable, and scalable foundation trusted by the world’s largest engineering companies.
The Fullstack Engineer (Frontend Focus) will own and evolve the Monolith platform’s product surface — the data‑heavy, workflow‑centric web experience where engineers design experiments, compare runs, interact with agents, and turn complex physical test data into decisions. You’ll partner closely with Design, Product, and Backend Engineering to ship UI and UX that feel fast, intuitive, and trustworthy for non‑ML expert engineers, while also contributing to our Python backend services when needed.
We’re targeting an IC5 Fullstack Staff Engineer with a strong frontend background, and are also open to exceptional Senior Fullstack Engineer II (IC4) candidates who can operate at staff‑like scope. The role is heavily frontend‑weighted (roughly 80–90%), focused on owning the Monolith web application: component architecture, design system evolution, performance, and UX for complex, data‑rich workflows. You’ll also work across our Python services (FastAPI/Flask) to shape and integrate APIs, bring new platform capabilities to the UI, and occasionally deliver backend features that unlock better user experiences.
You’ll be a key partner in defining how engineers experience Monolith’s “AI test lab” — from agent chat to experiment exploration and monitoring — and will help set the bar for frontend quality, reliability, and developer experience across the team.
In this role, you will:
Frontend Ownership & Experience
Fullstack Development & Platform Integration
Collaboration, Quality & Developer Experience
Experience & Level
Frontend Expertise
Backend & Platform Skills
Quality & Ways of Working

The Lead AI Engineer Role
As we continue our mission to be the market-leading insurance platform for agile insurers, we’re excited to begin the search for a Lead AI Engineer to help shape the next generation of intelligent capabilities within the Send platform.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and productionisation of AI-powered services built on top of public large language models (LLMs), enabling insurers to unlock deeper insights, automate workflows, and enhance underwriting decisions. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features-from rapid prototyping through to resilient, observable, production-grade systems-within a regulated financial services environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set the technical direction for AI engineering at Send, mentor a growing team, and collaborate closely with data engineering, product, and compliance teams. Together, you will deliver AI capabilities that are scalable, secure, auditable, and deliver real commercial value to insurers using the Send platform.
About Send
We are the leading insurance platform, trusted by world-class insurers to help them navigate complex risks.
Our platform helps commercial insurers, MGAs and reinsurers modernise underwriting, cut friction, and grow profitably in complex markets.
We are the only platform purpose-built for multi-operating models. Our platform combines deep industry expertise with the ability to support a range of strategies and operating models.
Our Story:
We started Send because insurers had been let down for too long by rigid, legacy technology. The industry was ready to work differently – and so were we.
In 2017, our three founders set out with a clear vision: to transform commercial underwriting by combining advanced technology with deep industry expertise.
By 2019, we delivered our first commercial and specialty underwriting platform for Aviva GCS, streamlining operations, increasing efficiency, and giving teams the visibility they needed to make faster, better decisions.
Over the next six years, we rolled out multiple underwriting platform solutions across the UK and US, proving that modern underwriting technology could be powerful, flexible, and rapidly delivered.
In 2022, we won three industry awards and secured a $10m Series A to accelerate our growth. By 2024, Send was recognised as a “Leader” by IDC, Celent, and Datos – a testament to our momentum and our customers’ success.
In 2025, we doubled in size and deepened our expertise in both the London Market and North America – becoming the only underwriting platform purpose-built to support multiple operating models.
But we're not finished. Insurers want orchestration, not siloed systems. That’s why we continue to invest in our platform and orchestration engine – helping our customers win better business, faster.
The Send Team
Over the past two years, Send has experienced significant growth, expanding our team by over 50% to more than 120 people. At the start of 2024, our team was primarily based in the UK and Poland. Since then, we’ve taken major steps toward building a global presence, with team members now located across the UK, US, India, and Ireland-all working collaboratively toward our vision of becoming the market-leading software platform for agile insurers.
Our Funding
From 2017 to 2022, we bootstrapped our growth journey, building a profitable and stable company. In November 2022, following a year of strong customer and team growth, we secured $10 million in Series A funding to accelerate our expansion across the UK and US, as well as to further enhance our product development. We’re proud to have the support and expertise of our investors, Mercia and Breega.
We are now preparing for our Series B round and are excited about the growth acceleration this will enable.

At Ophelos, we believe in a different way to deal with debt. One that puts empathy and understanding front and centre, approaching our customers as individuals — no matter what they’re going through.
For too long, people in debt have borne the brunt of poor industry practices. Intimidating tactics, time-consuming customer service and a one-size-fits-all approach that overlooks the reasons anyone can fall into debt in the first place. Meanwhile, businesses suffer too. Poor customer experience translates to poor customer satisfaction, high churn rates, bad brand reputation and ultimately missed opportunities.
That’s why we’re taking a radically different approach. Pioneering an industry-first AI-native collections platform, we build products that help individuals clear their debts in a way that suits them, whilst providing businesses with an improved customer experience and game-changing insights into their customer base.
Since our launch in 2021, we’ve worked with some of the UK’s leading companies, including Octopus, Scottish Power and Philips — helping millions of people move toward a more stable, debt-free future. In 2023, we were acquired by Intrum, Europe’s biggest credit management service and have begun the next phase in our growth — expansion into 17 European markets over the next two years.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Senior Software Engineer with a keen eye for quality to join our growing Engineering function. You will be joining our Payments squad, responsible for building out our cross-market flexible Payments capability. This is a team which has recently transitioned to being “LLM-first” in their working style, so you would be joining at a critical moment to shape our ways of working and our approaches to LLM-based tooling.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Ophelos Tech is an AI-first technical organisation, and effective use of LLMs are central to how our Engineers work. Claude Code, Codex, and OpenSpec are critical tools in our toolbox. The right person for this role should be excited and motivated to work in this AI-first world.
Stack-wise, we run TypeScript, Python, and Ruby at various levels in our stack – for this role we are really seeking a polyglot Software Engineer for whom specific implementation language is not critical. Elsewhere in our stack, we make use of:
Ophelos Tech operates hybrid working, and believes face-to-face working time is essential for planning and alignment.
Our teams spend two days each week working in-person from our comfortable office near Liverpool Street in London.
More than anything we are interested in your general experience as a software developer and your approach to solving problems, however, some experience in the following is important for this role:
Ophelos launched in June of 2021, backed by investors such as AlbionVC, Connect Ventures and Fly Ventures. In 2023, we were acquired by Intrum, Europe’s biggest credit management service. Our growing team has team helped build some of the world’s most successful businesses, including the likes of Monzo, Google, Oracle, ASAPP, IBM and more — in addition to pioneering innovative products, sitting at the intersection of enterprise, financial technology, artificial intelligence and academia, working with institutions such as Oxford University, the University of Amsterdam and the University of Hong Kong.
Supporting customers and businesses to improve their financial health is a long-term mission. Our company values act as our north star, steering our every move as an organisation and are the backbone of our unique company culture. Our values and culture allow us to stay true to our larger purpose, even as we continue to grow at a rapid pace.
Customers and Clients first – We exist to help real people move through debt and to get clients paid back. This commitment drives how we design products, deliver services, and interact with customers and clients daily.
Dream big – We have ambition and drive to succeed - we’re not just raising the bar, we’re confidently asserting ourselves as the benchmark.
Get it done – We’re decisive and embrace a sense of urgency; we don’t let opportunities get away from us. We’d rather act quickly and take informed risks, iterating and learning as we go.
Win as one - We work as one team, supporting each other and aiming for shared goals. At Ophelos, the team isn’t just individual departments - it’s all of us together. We challenge and support each other because we care about everyone’s growth and success.
Ophelos is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all team members. We are building an environment where every Ophelos team member can thrive, feel a sense of belonging, and do the best work of their careers. We value diversity and recruit, hire, and promote individuals solely based on talent, qualifications, competence, and merit. We evaluate candidates without regard to race, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or other protected characteristics as required by law and as a matter of our company values.

The Company
We’re Octopus Legacy: one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the country, and part of the UK’s most exciting and best-trusted group. We have a mission.
We’re on a path to scale - aiming to become a household name while transforming a long-established industry and helping individuals and organisations prepare for, and find support after, death.
But we can’t do it alone. That’s why we’re building a team of self-starters, problem-solvers and people who bring energy to everything they do.
Ready to be part of something big?
The Role
We're looking for a Software Engineer skilled in PHP and familiar with Python, ready to make a real impact. You’ll split your time between maintaining and improving our existing PHP/Laravel codebases - powering products like our website, Life Insurance offering, and internal tools - and contributing to newer Python-based projects as our tech stack evolves.
You’ll code across the full stack, shipping real improvements that users notice, keeping our platforms healthy, secure, and performant. You’ll own the backlog of impactful changes that elevate our products and delight users, while also growing into Python projects and expanding your skillset.
This is a role full of variety and opportunity - every week brings new challenges, and your work will directly impact our customers.

Why You’ll Love It Here
Our Mission
Octopus Legacy is the place to plan for death and find support after loss. When people think about planning for death they think about wills, life insurance and funerals. We take these cold processes and turn them into something more human. Share more than money: leave voice notes, music, recipes. Shape a legacy that connects you while you're here. And after you're gone.
Founded by Sam after his mum died suddenly, we’re a group of people who work in death because we’ve been affected by it. We know the difference a good plan makes, and what it’s like when there isn’t one.
Death can come between us, leaving mess, legal fees, frustration. But it can also make us stronger. We see a world where people talk openly about death, and work out the real meaning of legacy, one that connects to them. We’re here to make that world happen.
Benefits
We know that to be truly innovative, we need to have a diverse team around us. That is why Octopus Legacy is committed to creating an inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
