Trade Reconciliation Analyst
Ebury Malaga Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
This position will be part of the Treasury Operations Team and will play a key role in the financial reconciliations of Ebury. It will report to the Treasury Operations Reconciliation Manager.
What you’ll do
● This position will work with the wider treasury function and will play a central role in the daily operations of the department.
● Supporting the financial reconciliation function ensuring the adequate reconciliation and reporting of 800+ accounts in 100+ currencies.
● Execution of daily trade reconciliation across multiple FX transaction types and counterparties in line with EMIR requirements.
● Support to Ebury’s Group Bank accounts reconciliations including:
- Client collections accounts
- Lp settlements accounts
- Payout accounts
- Corporate Treasury Accounts
- Trade Finance and SPV accounts
- Cover accounts
● Daily monitoring and controls over trade populations and settlements.
● Management of discrepancies across trade details between internal systems.
● Controls over internal vs external balances.
● Detect, analyse, correct and escalate if needed possible discrepancies between external and internal cash flows and balances.
● Execute daily internal control checks to ensure there is no missing information in the systems.
● Ad-hoc, weekly and monthly reporting of all treasury positions.
● Document and control of processes facilitating the audit processes.
● Intra-department reporting.
● Supporting function in external audit.
What you’ll need
● Team player, fast learner, able to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately. We are looking for an individual with drive and passion.
● High level in Microsoft Excel or GoogleSheet is a must.
● Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment.

Payroll Specialist
Ebury Malaga Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
As a Payroll Specialist at Ebury, you are the technical and operational heart of the employee experience. You ensure our global team of 1,700+ professionals across 29+ markets is paid accurately, compliantly, and on time.
What you’ll do
- End to end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.
- Analysis and documentation of each countries control framework and payroll processing guidance.
- Ad hoc project support. Manage relationships with various stakeholders (i.e., Finance, HR, etc.) and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies
- Performing reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
- Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
- Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.
- Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Attend to all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis.
What you’ll need
- At least 2 years’ experience of processing payroll across multiple countries.
- Experience of working with a global payroll provider/system, preferably CloudPay.
- Ability to take ownership of payroll processes;
- Problem solving mindset & positive attitude;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas)

Senior Data Analyst - Treasury
Location: Málaga or Madrid (Spain) - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
Ebury’s strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data Analytics & Reporting team and we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Treasury domain!
Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury’s Data Platform and serve it to the whole company. This platform is the backbone of Ebury: it supports internal decision making, allows us to monitor our Treasury positions and risks, comply with regulatory reporting obligations and enables commercial opportunities globally.
The Data team works closely with Treasury, Product and Tech teams to coordinate and implement data analysis initiatives helping the Cash management, ALM and Treasury Reporting teams. Some of the projects we are currently working on include: MtM valuations reconciliation with our Treasury reporting system to ensure completeness and accuracy in our Financial statements, cash operational charges data analysis to reduce Treasury costs, liquidity data analysis to help ALM team manage daily liquidity obligations, and building AI agentic workflows to automate routine data operations and decision support, and many many more!
As part of the team you will
- Work closely with the rest of the Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Treasury and Product teams
- Be responsible for modelling data in our collaborative data platform to perform critical Treasury data analysis and build reports and reconciliations for the Treasury domain
- Design, build, and maintain robust AI agentic workflows and analytical tools to automate and enhance Treasury data processes and decision-making
- Manage end-to-end treasury solutions across all jurisdictions of the company from requirements gathering, building optimised data models and delivering the reports to our treasury stakeholders and auditors
- Maintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using our BI tools for Treasury teams to monitor reporting and controls
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics - applied to Treasury or Finance is a plus!
- Advanced SQL skills - must be able to read and write complex SQL queries
- Experience working with AI and building agentic workflows
- Experience with our modern data stack tools (a plus!) We use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DataStudio), Sigma
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format

- Balance customer experience, growth, and risk trade-offs across onboarding and lifecycle of our clients.
- Define the strategy for KYC / KYB, ensuring alignment with Financial Crime Intelligence Product goals and overall company direction.
- Translate strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap across KYC and KYB flows.
- Handle jurisdiction-specific onboarding and regulatory requirements.

Ebury’s strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data Analytics & Compliance team and we are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Regulatory FinCrime Compliance domain!
Our data mission is to enable effective risk detection, monitoring and regulatory compliance through robust data models, scalable analytics and high quality reporting.
The team works closely with Compliance, Risk and Product to design and implement data-driven controls, detection mechanisms, and investigative tools across multiple jurisdictions.
Projects range from building curated data models to cover global key risk indicators for financial crime compliance and automating into standardised board packs, to scaling our regulatory reporting engine to incorporate datasets specific to transaction monitoring, screening and client KYC.
As part of the team you will
- Design and maintain data models and datasets used for transaction monitoring, customer risk scoring, and financial crime investigations.
- Own end-to-end delivery of FinCrime analytics solutions: requirements gathering, data extraction, transformation, validation, and deployment.
- Develop and optimise detection logic and monitoring rules (e.g. transaction monitoring scenarios, anomaly detection, behavioural patterns).
- Perform data quality checks and controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and auditability of FinCrime datasets.
- Build dashboards and analytical tools (Looker / Looker Studio or similar) for monitoring risk exposure, alerts, and investigation pipelines.

Our data mission is to enable effective risk detection, monitoring and regulatory compliance through robust data models, scalable analytics and high quality reporting.
The team works closely with Compliance, Risk and Product to design and implement data-driven controls, detection mechanisms, and investigative tools across multiple jurisdictions.
Projects range from building curated data models to cover global key risk indicators for financial crime compliance and automating into standardised board packs, to scaling our regulatory reporting engine to incorporate datasets specific to transaction monitoring, screening and client KYC.
As part of the team you will
- Design and maintain data models and datasets used for transaction monitoring, customer risk scoring, and financial crime investigations.
- Own end-to-end delivery of FinCrime analytics solutions: requirements gathering, data extraction, transformation, validation, and deployment.
- Develop and optimise detection logic and monitoring rules (e.g. transaction monitoring scenarios, anomaly detection, behavioural patterns).
- Perform data quality checks and controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and auditability of FinCrime datasets.

Mission
Join Ebury's Analytics team in Madrid to build and maintain the data models and predictive frameworks that underpin our Underwriting and Credit Risk decisions. You'll go beyond reporting, designing scalable analytics assets, training explainable ML models, and translating risk signals into clear business actions.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain robust dbt data models that transform raw data into analytics-ready assets for Credit Risk and Underwriting.
- Write and optimise complex SQL and Python pipelines to model credit outcomes and surface early warning signals.
- Train, validate, and document explainable ML models (e.g., logistic regression, gradient-boosted trees) to predict defaults and portfolio behaviour.

As a Senior Security Engineer specialising in Cloud Infrastructure, you will own and evolve the security posture of our cloud environments across AWS and GCP, with a focus on network security, perimeter defence, and attack surface management.
This hands-on role requires deep expertise in cloud-native security controls, network architecture, and defensive security operations. You will design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure that proactively detects and mitigates threats before they impact our business. You will work closely with platform, infrastructure, and security operations teams, embedding security best practices into our cloud foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own cloud security posture and attack surface management: Maintain comprehensive visibility and control across AWS and GCP environments. Experience and Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years in security or infrastructure engineering with deep expertise in cloud security, ideally within FinTech, banking, or a similar regulated industry.
- Expert-level experience with AWS and/or GCP security services, including VPCs, security groups, IAM, and cloud-native security tools.
- Proven track record designing and implementing WAF solutions (AWS WAF, Cloud Armor, or similar) with custom detection rules.
- Strong experience designing network architectures with proper segmentation and isolation patterns.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and GitOps practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Solid understanding of network security fundamentals: firewalls, routing, DNS, TLS, VPNs.
- Experience implementing or operating SIEM, logging, and security monitoring solutions

Senior Security Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure
Hybrid (4 days in office) in Madrid
Ebury is investing significantly in its cloud infrastructure security capabilities to ensure the trust and safety of our global financial services. As a Senior Security Engineer specialising in Cloud Infrastructure, you will own and evolve the security posture of our cloud environments across AWS and GCP, with a focus on network security, perimeter defence, and attack surface management.
This hands-on role requires deep expertise in cloud-native security controls, network architecture, and defensive security operations. You will design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure that proactively detects and mitigates threats before they impact our business. You will work closely with platform, infrastructure, and security operations teams, embedding security best practices into our cloud foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own cloud security posture and attack surface management: Maintain comprehensive visibility and control across AWS and GCP environments. Implement cloud-native security monitoring, detection, and alerting to proactively identify and mitigate threats before they impact customers or the business. Define and enforce security baselines using policy-as-code.
- Design and maintain web application firewall infrastructure: Own WAF configurations across AWS and GCP, developing and tuning detection rules aligned with application threat models and emerging attack patterns. Establish operational processes for rule lifecycle management and incident response integration, collaborating with application teams to implement protections without impacting availability.
- Architect network segmentation and isolation: Design and implement network security strategies ensuring proper separation between development, staging, and production environments. Define consistent patterns across multi-cloud infrastructure, applying zero-trust principles to workload communication and documenting reference architectures for engineering teams.
- Deliver modern secure remote access: Architect and implement a scalable remote access solution to meet current network security and environment isolation requirements. Design identity-aware access controls for infrastructure and cloud resources, ensuring solutions satisfy compliance and audit requirements for regulated financial services.
- Drive security automation and DevSecOps adoption: Implement Infrastructure as Code for security controls using Terraform and cloud-native tools. Build automated compliance checking, policy enforcement pipelines, and security tooling that improves detection and response capabilities across infrastructure deployments.
- Improve team capabilities and cross-functional collaboration: Partner with platform and infrastructure teams to embed security into cloud foundations. Provide technical guidance on network and cloud security best practices, contribute to incident response, and actively share security learnings to elevate engineering capabilities.
