Junior Trade Support Analyst

Ebury Leon Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

This position will be part of the Trade Support team of Ebury Group Treasury, interact constantly with the FX dealing floor, and report to the Trade Support Manager.

What you’ll do

• Management of client FX trades including trade verification, confirmation and amendments in line with internal processes and SLAs
• Management of FX trades booked with liquidity providers, including matching and reconciliation via various third party platforms
• Rate provision and deal execution for trades booked with specific liquidity providers, including internal book
• Management of trade amendments and ad-hoc exceptions in line with internal processes and SLAs
• Creation and provision of supplementary trade documentation, including statements, where required
• Communicate with our main stakeholders (Liquidity Providers, Front Office…) when needed
• Complete allocated tasks with focus, and in a timely manner
• Communicate the status of tasks to colleagues, supervisors and managers, and escalate problems swiftly, as needed
• Adhere to all internal policies, processes and procedures
• Keep a fluent, collaborative and nice team environment

Product Ownership

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging fraud trends, attacker methodologies, and industry best practices in B2B & B2C fraud prevention.
• Be proactive and unearth vulnerabilities to pinpoint where the fraudster might strike. Balance growth vs risk trade-offs; design products/features that improve security across Ebury.
• Formulate and drive a fraud tackling focused product strategy, ensuring alignment with overall Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain goals and company direction.
• Own fraud controls across transactional fraud, document fraud, and behavioural anomalies.
• Detect abnormal user behaviour across onboarding, authentication, and payment journeys.
• Translate the control gaps or breaches into a clear, actionable roadmap, ensuring timely and effective delivery across:
  - fiat to fiat transactions
  - fiat to crypto transactions (mainly stablecoins)
  - crypto to crypto transactions, card spends, internal processes and customer journeys

Stakeholder management

• Partner with operational and compliance teams to ensure controls are effective.
• Partner with Data Science teams on predictive AI models for customers journeys and transactions; model inputs, outputs, and thresholds (you are not expected to build machine learning models, but you must understand how predictive models behave in production).
• Collaborate with Security teams on: account compromise, abuse patterns and attacker tooling and signals.

Delivery & execution

• Design real-time and pre-authorisation fraud controls to prevent losses before execution.
• Define step-up, blocking, and friction strategies based on risk signals.
• Translate regulatory and risk requirements into clear product requirements.
• Work closely with Engineering on managing vendor integrations, event schemas, transaction & customer data models and system performance and scalability

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in fintech, crypto, payments, regulated financial services.
• 4+ years’ experience as a Product Manager.
• 2+ years developing Anti-Fraud products.
• Domain expertise in an area such as card fraud or transfer/payment fraud.
• Experience managing AI products (nice to have), customer-facing products, and back office systems.

As the Building Operations Manager for Ebury’s new headquarters in León, you will be the focal point for all front-of-house and technical office operations. You will be responsible for transforming a recently acquired facility into a world-class office experience, ensuring that all complex building systems—from critical power to advanced climate control—are managed to the highest standards.

As the building owner and a 24/7 operational hub, you will act as the 'Owner’s Representative,' ensuring zero-downtime for our critical infrastructure. You will be responsible for the long-term value and resilience of the asset, moving beyond day-to-day maintenance to strategic asset management and decarbonization.

You will be the subject-matter expert on global grant landscapes, partnering with senior stakeholders to shape funding roadmaps, orchestrate high-quality submissions, and ensure post-award compliance and reporting. This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who can move seamlessly from market scanning and stakeholder engagement to bid leadership and award delivery.

What you’ll do

• You will develop and execute a global grants pipeline that aligns to corporate priorities, including innovation and R&D, payments and FX technology, AI and data, cybersecurity, sustainability and green transition, training and skills, market expansion, and trade enablement. 
• You will systematically map national, supranational, and regional schemes (e.g., UK, EU, US federal/state, Canada, LATAM, APAC, Middle East, Africa), as well as sector-specific programmes relevant to fintech and financial services.
• You will lead qualification, bid strategy, consortium management where applicable, and full-lifecycle application delivery. 
• You will coordinate cross-functional inputs from Product, Engineering, Finance, Compliance, Legal, ESG, and People teams, ensuring proposals are commercially coherent, technically robust, and compliant with funder requirements.
• You will steward relationships with funding bodies, innovation agencies, development banks, export credit agencies, and regional investment authorities, while maintaining a rigorous governance framework for due diligence, eligibility, co-funding, state-aid/subsidy-control, and post-award obligations. 
• You will build metrics, dashboards, and periodic executive updates that track pipeline, success rates, funds awarded, and business impact, and embed best-practice processes that scale across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will develop the global grant and incentives strategy and annual plan, aligned to corporate and product roadmaps.
• You will continuously scan and qualify opportunities across R&D and innovation, sustainability and energy transition, digital and AI adoption, workforce and skills, export and market-entry, capital investment, and regional development incentives.
• You will lead end-to-end bid management, including eligibility assessments, bid/no-bid decisions, application authoring, budget development, cost justification, partner/consortium structuring, risk registers, and submission management. 
• You will coordinate internal stakeholders for technical narratives, impact cases, workplans, and IP considerations, ensuring alignment with compliance, tax, and legal requirements (including subsidy control/state aid, procurement rules, and reporting). 
• You will manage relationships with programme officers, innovation agencies, and delivery partners, securing clarifications, feedback, and debriefs to continuously improve win rates.
• You will implement robust governance for grant accounting, drawdowns, audits, milestone reporting, and KPI tracking, partnering with Finance and PMO. 
• You will build and maintain a global knowledge base of programmes, calendars, templates, and exemplar answers to accelerate future bids. 
• You will produce regular pipeline reports and executive updates quantifying funds secured, leverage ratios, and strategic impact. You will support training and enablement across the business on grant opportunity spotting and bid-readiness.

We are looking for a Junior Operations Analyst to join our Ebury Operations team in our Leon office. What you’ll do

● Instruction and initial verification of client payments, in accordance with internal processes and in line with internal SLAs
● Completion of payment beneficiaries, in accordance with internal processes
● Help clients to resolve questions or issues regarding their transactions and payments, on email, phone and chat, with empathy and enthusiasm
● Take and act on instructions from clients interacting with Ebury offline, in accordance with internal processes
● Take responsibility for assigned tasks and demonstrate end to end ownership
● Creation and manual enrichment of transaction reporting files.
● Reconciliation of client funds, FX settlements and internal cash movements sent and received across Ebury’s network of bank accounts.
● Investigation of unallocated and/or non-received funds, and rejection or escalation as required
● Funding client trades, where manual funding is required
● Check and confirm status of payments in third party banking and payment platforms, including SWIFT GPI
● Conduct basic updates on client information adhering to the relevant processes and procedures.
● Communicate the status of tasks to colleagues, supervisors and managers, and escalate problems swiftly, as needed
● Adhere to all internal policies, processes and procedures
