As the Communication Designer at Upsun, you are the guardian of our visual identity and the engine behind our brand’s daily expression. In this role, you report directly to the Head of Brand and Communications and serve as a cross-functional partner to Marketing, Product, Sales, Engineer, and People teams.

What to expect

• Lead Daily Design Execution: Produce high-fidelity visual assets for social media, website components, sales enablement decks, and digital advertising.
• Translate Technical Concepts: Partner with Product Design to turn complex technical workflows into simplified, "marketing-ready" UI visualizations and original vector illustrations.
• Manage External Partners: Act as the primary creative lead for external agencies and freelancers, providing actionable feedback and quality control to ensure output meets our brand standards.
• Evolve the Design System: Maintain and expand our library of reusable design components and brand guidelines to ensure global scalability and consistency.
• Collaborate on Campaigns: Work with Growth and Events teams to translate strategic briefs into high-performing visual assets that drive engagement and conversion.

What you bring

• Professional Design Experience: 2+ years as a brand designer or art director, ideally within a B2B tech environment or a fast-paced creative agency.
• Tooling Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), along with comfort using Google Workspace and Slack.
• Systems Thinking: A proven ability to work with and evolve complex brand systems and component libraries across diverse formats.
• Technical Visualization: Exceptional skills in vector design and the ability to translate abstract cloud concepts into visuals that resonate with a developer audience.

How will you make an impact?

• Support strategic opportunities across the DACH and France region, working closely with sales to drive growth in these markets.
• Partnering with the sales team to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals within the sales cycle.
• Participating in discovery calls and technical deep dives.
• Creating and delivering powerful presentations and customized product demonstrations
• Design and recommend solutions that meet customer specific needs and business requirements, highlighting the benefits, capabilities and value proposition of NiCE Cognigy.
• Discover and analyze customer requirements, understand their pain points, and provide recommendations on how NiCE Cognigy can address these needs.
• Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to communicate customer requirements and further enhancements.
• Provide technical support to the sales team before and during the sales process, answering technical questions, demonstrating NiCE Cognigy to potential customers, and providing product information.
• Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape and perform technical comparisons between the company's software and other conversational AI products on the market.

Have you got what it takes?

• Consulting & Sales Engineering Expertise: Leverage your experience in roles like consultant, sales engineer, or presales to provide insightful and engaging demonstrations.
• Enterprise Software Proficiency: Bring your background in the enterprise software space, particularly with contact center or automation technologies, to the table.
• Programming Skills: Utilize your JavaScript programming/scripting experience, essential for presales and enablement services. Knowledge of Java, Python, or similar languages is a plus.
• Low Code & Conversational AI Experience: Experience presenting conversational AI and generative AI technologies.
• Contact Center Knowledge: Understanding contact center technology (SIP and typical contact center components such as SBCs, ACD, ASR, TTS, etc.). Experience with conversation design, IVR design or chatbot design.

Deine Rolle 

Du bringst GenAI-Bildgenerierung und -Bildbearbeitung (v. a. ComfyUI) so in unsere CGI-/Compositing-Pipeline, dass aus Ideen schnell realistische, konsistente und markentaugliche Visuals werden. 

Das erwartet Dich 

1.) Look Development & Concept Exploration  

• Du entwickelst Bildwelten, Motive und Variationen für Kampagnen  
• Du arbeitest mit ComfyUI in bestehenden Graphen, pflegst sie und erweiterst sie für konkrete Use Cases (z. B. Environment/Background, Produktintegration, Serien-Varianten). 
• Du baust Prompt-Frameworks / Prompt-Baupläne, um Konsistenz und Qualität über Serien zu halten. 

2.) CGI Enhancement & “AI als Finish”  

• Du nutzt GenAI als Finish-Layer nach dem 3D: Enhancement, Compositing-Unterstützung, Details, Realismus, Konsistenz. 
• Du arbeitest eng mit 3D/CGI/Compositing zusammen (u. a. C4D, Maya, Unreal, Nuke, After Effects, Photoshop, Substance). 
• Du hilfst, typische Produktionsherausforderungen zu lösen (z. B. Produktgenauigkeit, Proportionen, Detailgrad). 

3.) Workflow-Qualität & Skalierung  

• Du setzt auf Batch/Automation in ComfyUI (Queues, Varianten, reproduzierbare Runs). 
• Du evaluierst Modelle/Ansätze (Qualität/Speed) und setzt sie passend zum Use Case ein 
• Du dokumentierst ComfyUI-Templates/Workflows und erstellst Best-Practice Guides, damit Teams sauber weiterarbeiten können. 
• Für kleine Automationen nutzt du gelegentlich Skripte/Helpers (Python/JS). Für größere Infrastruktur-/Engineering-Themen gibt es bei uns separate Engineering-Unterstützung. 

Das bringst Du mit 

• Hands-on Erfahrung mit GenAI im Imaging-Kontext, inklusive Bildgenerierung sowie gezielter Bearbeitung und Qualitätsverbesserung 
• Sichere Praxis mit ComfyUI, insbesondere node-basierte Workflows, saubere Graphen und Troubleshooting 
• Ausgeprägtes Verständnis von Bildgestaltung und Visual Quality, z. B. Komposition, Licht, Materialität und Stil 
• Erfahrung oder fundiertes Verständnis von CGI- und Compositing-Pipelines, inklusive Übergaben, Render-Logik und dem Weg vom Setup zum finalen Bild 
• Portfolio oder Arbeitsproben, die Realismus, Konsistenz und visuelle Qualität unter produktionsnahen Constraints belegen (über reine Prompt-Experimente hinaus) 
• Fließende Deutsch- und/oder Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2-C1) sind Voraussetzung.

• Ervaring met videoproductie en fotografie is een pluspunt
