Position Summary
The Site Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of the Jacksonville manufacturing site, including the monthly close process, account reconciliation and analysis, inventory accuracy and production variance analysis, reporting monthly financial results, cash forecasting, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, monthly financial statements, and annual audits.
- Serve as a partner to site leadership providing financial insights in decision making.
- Own the monthly close process for the site including all accruals, intercompany accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
- Complete analysis of monthly results including P&L and balance sheet variance analysis.
- Manage all fixed asset and operating/finance lease accounting processes and procedures.
- Provide cash forecasting information to Corporate team.
- Interact with Tax to supply required documentation to ensure timely completion of income tax returns.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data to enhance the company’s value.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
Supervision of Personnel
- This role will be responsible for supervision/management of the Staff Accountant(s).
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience, preferably within large-scale manufacturing or complex, multi-entity environments, including increasing responsibility for financial reporting, controls, and operational support.
- Demonstrated high level of ethical conduct, integrity, and professionalism in handling confidential financial and operational information
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, and core accounting principles within a manufacturing or site-based environment
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and site leadership to support business decision-making
- Solid financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting at the site or business unit level
- Experience supporting performance management through KPI tracking, financial analysis, and actionable insights to improve operational efficiency
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including influencing site leaders, mentoring junior staff, and driving accountability across finance processes
- High level of personal effectiveness with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced onsite environment
- Strong professional credibility with the ability to serve as a trusted financial partner to plant/site leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to present financial results, risks, and recommendations confidently to cross-functional and senior leadership teams
Preferred
- Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- CPA certification.
Location
- The position is an onsite position at our Jacksonville, Florida facility and may require up to 10% travel to IEM facilities, supplier sites, compliance audits or conferences.
- This role is not currently open to applicants who reside in or plan to work from the state of California.

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Mission Operations Engineer with a focus on launch automation, vehicle systems, and launch day Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for our Nova launch vehicle. In this critical role, you will develop launch day automation systems, coordinate with engineering teams, and ensure a seamless transition from ground operations through launch, flight, and handoff to orbital or recovery operations. This role will be well served by someone who is an expert in software engineering AND aerospace propulsion systems including tanks and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine automation systems to support real-time mission operations and streamline launch day processes.
- Own the Nova Vehicle CONOPS from launch pad evacuation through lift off.
- Build systems for and, on launch day, to monitor telemetry from the Nova launch vehicle and assess real-time launch commit criteria.
- Own the implementation of mission specific challenges like downrange vehicle telemetry, hardware change implementation and operations improvements.
- Work with Kent and Moses Lake teams to streamline integrated vehicle testing as a continuation into Launch Site processing and Launch Operations.
- Aggregate and synthesize engineering inputs from subject matter experts to enable and inform critical decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the Vehicle Controller, advising on launch sequence adjustments and anomaly resolution when needed.
- Lead the monitoring of vehicle stages through the flight phase, coordinating smooth handoff to orbital operations or recovery teams.
- Drive the continuous improvement of launch day CONOPS to increase operational efficiency and mission success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in mission operations, launch systems, or a related aerospace field.
- Proven experience in vehicle automation, telemetry analysis, and operational command and control.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in high-stakes, real-time environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance under pressure.

About the Role:
Designs and maintains the controller processes that run on safety-critical hardware, focusing on fast, deterministic binaries, memory-based IPC, and integration with field and TCP-based protocols.
About You:
- You have 6+ years of experience building C++ or Rust software that runs on or near safety-critical hardware, with a strong focus on correctness and reliability
- You have deep understanding of memory management and inter-process communication (IPC), and you are comfortable designing and debugging high-performance binaries that pass data efficiently between processes
- You have hands-on experience with real-time or near-real-time execution, and you care about low jitter, latency, and throughput, using common tools to track down performance and memory bottlenecks
- You are comfortable integrating with industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LXI, Modbus, RMC/DMCP, OpenDAQ or similar), including moving data reliably over TCP between controllers and higher-level systems
Nice to haves but not required:
- Experience designing and operating systems running on a real-time OS or environments with tight real-time constraints
- Experience with lock-free or low-contention concurrency patterns for high-throughput data exchange between processes
- Familiarity with time-sensitive networking, deterministic scheduling, or other techniques used to coordinate multiple controllers in a safety-critical environment
- Prior experience bringing up or debugging hardware-in-the-loop test setups for controllers, including working directly in lab environments with instruments and test equipment

The Project Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of service project execution, including preventative and reactive maintenance, performance monitoring, and warranty activities. This role manages budgeting, forecasting, cost control, revenue recognition, cash collection, risk management, and compliance across ongoing service agreements. As a key liaison between Project Management, Finance, and other departments, the Project Controller ensures accurate financial tracking, reporting, and governance throughout the full-service lifecycle, including contract execution, warranty periods, and continuous service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain project budgets, update forecasts, and manage cash flow projections
- Cost Control & Analysis: Track project costs, analyze variances, and support corrective action plans
- Project Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain performance dashboards and prepare periodic project financial reports
- Contract: Ensure contract terms are adhered to regarding financial reporting, milestones, liquidated damages and billing

A Software Engineer 2 is responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications. They work closely with the software development team to analyze user needs and create efficient and functional software solutions. They are proficient in programming languages and have a strong understanding of software development methodologies.
Essential Functions
- Develop Embedded Linux and microcontroller software applications using C/C++, and occasionally other programming languages.

Barbaricum is seeking an experienced Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Instructor to join our dedicated team in direct support of the United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) as a JTAC Instructor / Simulator Operator. This role focuses on providing advanced JTAC training to Special Tactics Squadron (STS) personnel in both classroom and live range settings as well as programmatic support. This position offers relocation assistance and is bonus eligible after personnel complete their onboarding period. Candidates must be comfortable working in expeditionary conditions and high-tempo training environments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver JTAC, JTAC-I, and JTAC-SEE instruction in classroom, field, and simulator-based settings.
- Support and track JTAC progression through training records, qualification folders, and reporting documentation.
- Implement and update CAS and SUAS training scenarios in accordance with service doctrine and unit guidance.
- Assist with range and air asset scheduling, deconfliction, and inter-unit coordination for live training execution.
- Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) and deliver instruction in complex tactical environments.
- Support no-notice evaluations, sustain training documentation, and maintain unit academics programs.
- Participate in exercises, conferences, planning sessions, and symposiums.
- Provide emergency response support during training activities, including medical evacuation advisories.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret; current TS/SCI highly preferred.
- JTAC Instructor (JTAC-I) qualified and current within the last 4 years.
- Must have held JTAC-I and/or JTAC-SEE rating.
- Minimum of 2 years of SOF background, or equivalent augmentation in operational deployments as a JTAC.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated ability to work in austere field environments under variable weather and operational conditions.
- Experience operating standard office systems and military automation platforms in both classified and unclassified settings.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and ability to produce training briefs, instructional content, and technical reports.
- Willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in support of mission training cycles.
- Ability to travel regularly, including OCONUS, with overnight stays and operations in temporary facilities.
- Experience operating radios (PRC series, MBITR), NVGs, IR devices, and other JTAC-specific equipment.
