What You'll Do

• Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) for both individual and corporate clients, including Simplified and Enhanced Due Diligence, screening and reviewing for adverse media, sanctions, and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) profiles.
• Review and update customer records in accordance with FCA guidelines, UK/EU AML directives, and internal risk policies.
• Collect, verify, and assess KYC/KYB documentation, including ID, address proof, and ownership structures.
• Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening, escalating any hits or anomalies per escalation protocols.
• Complete Client Risk Assessments and produce clear, well-reasoned outputs.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve gaps or discrepancies in onboarding cases.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all due diligence activities, maintaining audit readiness and GDPR compliance.
• Identify and suggest improvements to the CDD onboarding process, including automation opportunities.

Who You Are

The ideal CDD Introduced Onboarding Analyst will be comfortable operating in a high-volume, regulated environment and bring a genuine interest in financial crime and FinTech.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CDD, KYC, AML, or financial crime roles within a regulated financial institution or fintech.
• Solid understanding of UK/EU AML regulations, including JMLSG guidance and FCA expectations.
• Familiarity with various client types and structures, including corporates, trusts, partnerships, and beneficial ownership.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage high volumes of work accurately and to deadline.
• Experience using screening and data tools such as Orbis, Moody's, or equivalent platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, CRM/KYC platforms, and document management systems.
• Ability to work independently with accountability, while collaborating effectively within a team to achieve shared goals.

What you’ll need:

• A (high-level) understanding of legislation/guidance including the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 (as amended), the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018, the Terrorism Act 2000 and Counter-Terrorism Act 2008, the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018, and HM Treasury Sanctions Notices and OFSI Guidance. • Investigate alerts, validate matches, articulate rationale for decisions made, make risk-based decisions and escalate confirmed risks to Compliance/AML teams where required.

The Role
Capco is seeking experienced Consultants and Senior Consultants to join our growing FRRF. You’ll support clients in delivering meaningful change across sanctions and fraud risk, balancing regulatory compliance with innovation. What You’ll Do

• Lead or support advisory and transformation initiatives in financial crime, sanctions, and fraud

• Deliver operating model redesigns, technology enablement, and cost optimisation across three lines of defence

• Support clients in managing regulatory reviews, remediations, and operational backlogs

• Benchmark and assess controls, identify gaps, and design solutions to improve risk management

• Contribute to shaping propositions and client offerings across the fraud and financial crime domain

What We’re Looking For

• Solid understanding of sanctions and fraud risk within the wider financial crime context

• Experience across fraud detection, prevention, response, and sanctions compliance

• Familiarity with financial crime tools, processes, and technology implementation

• Demonstrated delivery in change roles either within consultancy or financial services

• Ability to communicate clearly and build credibility with stakeholders from AVP to MD level

Bonus Points For

• Track record as a Programme/Project Manager or Business Analyst in financial crime initiatives

• Experience designing and implementing target operating models and control frameworks

• Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions

• Demonstrated success in relationship-building and contributing to business development

• For senior candidates: leadership in team development, proposition design, and client bid support

Trade & Transaction Reporting Consultant – Business Analyst / Project Manager

Drive regulatory clarity and control across global reporting regimes

The Role
Capco is seeking Business Analysts and Project Managers to join our FRRF practice, with a focus on trade and transaction reporting transformation. You’ll help financial institutions deliver reporting programmes across regimes such as EMIR Refit, MiFIR, SFTR, and CFTC, supporting enhanced transparency, operational control, and compliance readiness.

What You’ll Do

• Lead analysis, design, and delivery of global reporting change initiatives

• Translate regulatory obligations into business, functional, and data requirements

• Partner with Compliance, Operations, Tech, and vendors to embed control frameworks

• Support implementation across regimes including EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, CFTC, MAS, and others

• Provide governance and oversight on traceability, data lineage, and remediation

What We’re Looking For

• Experience delivering transaction reporting change as a BA or PM within financial services

• Practical understanding of at least one reporting regime (e.g. EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, HKMA)

• Proficiency in drafting requirements, use cases, and test scenarios

• Familiarity with trade lifecycle flows across Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives

• Knowledge of control processes, reconciliation, and exception management in reporting

Bonus Points For

• Experience working on EMIR Refit or MiFIR regulatory reporting implementations

• Familiarity with vendor tools such as DTCC, UnaVista, Kaizen, or SteelEye

• Experience documenting data lineage, schemas, and reporting logic

• Agile delivery exposure using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalents

• Consulting experience or involvement in multi-jurisdictional change programmes
