In this role, you will build and mature best-in-class reliability practices, including incident response, risk management, and operational lifecycle programs, embedding resilience into every stage of development. What You’ll Do

• 6+ years of applicable software engineering or SRE experience
• 3+ years experience managing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar.

About the Job

What We're Looking For

• 12+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale backend or cloud infrastructure systems — with a strong preference for IoT, telematics, or hardware-adjacent domains.
• Demonstrated track record of setting technical direction across teams, driving architectural decisions, and aligning engineering roadmaps with business goals.
• Deep expertise with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS: EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis, etc.), distributed systems design, and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Strong hands-on experience with agentic AI workflows — not just prompt engineering, but architecting multi-agent systems, managing context, and building AI-native development practices at a team or org level.
• Proven ability to mentor Staff and Senior engineers, elevate team-wide engineering standards, and drive cultural change through influence rather than authority.
• Exceptional communication skills: able to distill complex architectural concepts for diverse audiences, from junior engineers to executive leadership.

• Experience with high-frequency ingest systems, time-series data, and streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, or similar).

What you’ll do

The Expansion pod brings creativity and executional rigor to attracting new prospects and driving conversion, focusing on user journeys, interactive and highly polished tools for users, and building targeted experiences for our global users.

As a backend engineer you will architect and build the server-side systems and LLM orchestration layers that power intelligent, dynamic user experiences across acquisition journeys. You will design the APIs, data pipelines, and inference infrastructure behind delightful and original interactive tools and resources that attract users. You will collaborate deeply across design, engineering, and cross-functional teams and work across teams and tech stacks to create new site capabilities — with a specific focus on integrating large language models into production-grade services that are reliable, performant, and safe.

This is not a research or ML training role. You will be responsible for wiring LLMs into real user-facing products: managing prompt pipelines, handling model routing and fallback logic, implementing guardrails and output validation.

We’re looking for a Director of Platform & Infrastructure to own and evolve our core engineering foundations. Reporting to our VP of Product Engineering, this role will lead SRE, MLOps, and Platform teams with a mandate to create leverage across the entire organization.

As a scaling startup, we’re evolving from early-stage infrastructure to a more mature, reliable platform that can support rapid product development and growing customer demand. This role is critical in helping us make that transition — building systems, standards, and teams that enable speed today while laying the foundation for long-term scale.

Partnering closely with product, data, and application engineering teams, you will set the technical vision, define best practices, and ensure our infrastructure enables teams to move fast with confidence.

About the Role

The Facilities & Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing maintenance operations within a Distribution Centre and to ensure that safety, sanitation, and reliability standards are achieved. Reporting to the Site Director, this hands-on role will perform and oversee the technical tasks related to the engineering, installation, maintenance, and sanitation of production equipment, infrastructure, and facilities.

What you will be doing:

• Develop plans for and perform preventative maintenance of equipment, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, security, and other assets in the distribution center
• Manage vendors and lead a team of supervisors and maintenance technicians to troubleshoot maintenance issues and repair or replace of assets as required 
• Source and manage MRO spare parts, consumables, tools, and other related maintenance equipment needed to ensure assets are in good working order
• Coordinate with Project Managers and site stakeholders to plan, install, commission, and maintain production equipment in the distribution center
• Manage all CMMS/G-sheet preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all activities are up to date and are completed on time in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Manage contractors and suppliers; define scope of work, oversee tasks, and ensure completion of deliverables 
• Promptly communicate all safety related issues and concerns
• Develop, manage, and monitor the maintenance department budget, including labor, MRO inventory, contractor costs, and capital expenditures; ensure cost control and financial accountability
• Support equipment and facilities upgrades required to improve safety, quality and productivity
• Responsible for maintenance metrics, including but not limited to: equipment downtime, PM completion %

Notre équipe de recherche appliquée en publicité joue un rôle crucial dans la définition de l'avenir des produits de monétisation de Unity. Nous recherchons un(e) Développeur(se) Backend Senior (systèmes distribués) pour faire évoluer la prochaine génération de systèmes d'inférence à grande échelle pour Unity Ads.

Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de la conception, du développement et de la maintenance de l'infrastructure backend qui alimente nos modèles publicitaires à grande échelle, en mettant l'accent sur la performance, la fiabilité et l'évolutivité des systèmes d'inférence. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes de recherche en apprentissage automatique, de produit et de développement pour bâtir et exploiter les services essentiels qui soutiennent nos capacités publicitaires.

Ce que vous allez faire

• Concevoir, développer et déployer des services backend évolutifs, performants et de qualité production, ainsi que des systèmes distribués, afin de prendre en charge l’inférence de modèles à grande échelle.
• Contribuer de manière significative à la feuille de route technique et à la conception de notre plateforme d'inférence, en se concentrant sur des services à faible latence et à haut débit.
• Assurer la fiabilité, l'évolutivité et l'efficacité de nos systèmes en production en utilisant des outils de surveillance et d'observabilité comme Prometheus et Grafana.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de science des données, de produit et de développement pour aligner les capacités de la plateforme avec les objectifs stratégiques de l'entreprise.
• Gérer et optimiser notre infrastructure cloud (GCP) et orchestrer les charges de travail avec Kubernetes.
• Promouvoir et mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques pour le développement, les tests, le déploiement et la surveillance des services backend (DevOps, SRE).

Ce que nous recherchons

• Une formation en développement logiciel ou dans un domaine technique connexe.
• Une solide expérience pratique dans la conception, le déploiement et la maintenance de systèmes distribués à grande échelle, y compris la gestion de l'infrastructure infonuagique sur GCP et l'orchestration des charges de travail avec Kubernetes.
• Une expertise en Golang pour construire des systèmes et infrastructures à haute performance et à faible latence.
• Une expérience approfondie avec des outils de surveillance et d'observabilité (par exemple, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Une familiarité avec les architectures de microservices, la conteneurisation (Docker) et les meilleures pratiques CI/CD.
• D’excellentes compétences en communication et en collaboration, avec une capacité à expliquer des concepts techniques à des interlocuteur(rice)s techniques comme non techniques.

• Une expérience avec des serveurs d'inférence ML comme NVIDIA Triton Inference Server.
• Une familiarité avec les plateformes et processus d'apprentissage automatique.
• Une expérience dans le domaine de la technologie publicitaire ou dans d'autres environnements à forte contrainte de performance, tels que les systèmes de recommandation ou la personnalisation en temps réel.
