Project Description
As part of the DevOps team, you will be embedded within one or more software engineering teams to deliver infrastructure and operational support. You’ll take ownership of delivering scalable, automated systems and services. Your work will help bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and performant infrastructure across a modern microservices architecture. You’ll be expected to operate infrastructure in AWS, build CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and support both development teams and live production systems.

What You'll Do
- Contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions with a strong focus on automation and scalability;
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot infrastructure in large-scale production environments;

- Develop scripts and automation tools for monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure tasks;

Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles supporting large-scale production environments;
- Expertise with AWS;
- Strong Linux skills, with advanced knowledge of system internals and networking;
- Knowledge of Victoria Metrics, Click House, and Grafana;
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Chef, Terraform, or Ansible;
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby;
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration;
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios, or InfluxDB;
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools;
- English: B1+ level (spoken and written);

Your Team:
The DevOps team is responsible for supporting, improving and automating CI/CD pipelines, maintaining and evolving the company’s infrastructure, and ensuring smooth deployment and operation of applications in Kubernetes. The team focuses on cloud operations, system reliability, configuration management, centralized logging, and monitoring to ensure stable and scalable environments.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Support the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications
- Assist in infrastructure provisioning and automation using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments, ensuring stability and scalability
- Work with cloud platforms (primarily GCP) for day-to-day operations and maintenance
- Support configuration management for OS and applications to ensure consistency across environments
- Contribute to centralized logging and monitoring systems for better observability
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotation when needed
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers and development teams to improve system reliability
Employees may be required to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring availability outside regular working hours to respond to urgent issues as needed as per the On call policy.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure/Operations roles
- Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform / Ansible is a plus)
- Basic experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud)
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals
- Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
- Familiar with monitoring/logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK – nice to have)
- Understanding of basic Change/Release management processes

SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications.
- Ability to provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk, impact and costs vs. benefits.
- Build, install and configure solutions. Implement reusable components, translate technical requirements, assist with all stages of test data, develop interface stubs and simulators and perform script maintenance and updates.

- Excellent experience in Cloud Technologies - AWS
- Strong hands-on experience at least in one scripting language (PowerShell, Python).
- Good knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of databases.
- An understanding and some experience of network administration, DNS, firewall maintenance and security.
- Significant systems administration experience in a Unix/ Linux environment
- Good understanding of software quality assurance.
- An understanding of continuous integration/delivery principles and working knowledge of automated software delivery workflows.
