Brandwatch seeks a new member for the Integrations & Marketplace team. You will join a cross-functional, autonomous team delivering new integrations across our social media management suite.

As a Software Engineer at Brandwatch, you will deliver high-quality code that enhances existing solutions and implement new features for our customers.

We are looking for people with:

Strong experience with Angular 17+

Experience working with Node.js.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with and preference for agile environments
Desire to master software engineering
Keep up to date with web development technology trends
Knowledge of unit testing and end-to-end frameworks (e.g., Jest, Testcafe)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer (Observability & Developer Experience) to take ownership of two key areas within our engineering operations. You’ll work closely with the engineering teams responsible for our observability platform and developer tools, helping to ensure our systems are reliable and our developers are empowered with efficient workflows. In this role, you’ll shape the technical direction for monitoring, logging, CI/CD, and automation initiatives across the organization, while staying hands-on with engineering work. You’ll also collaborate with teams across the company to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What You’ll Do

Lead and contribute to a team of DevOps/SRE engineers focused on Observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) and Developer Experience (CI/CD pipelines, internal developer tools).
Help define the roadmap and vision for observability and developer productivity, aligning with business and engineering needs.
Design, implement, and operate monitoring and logging infrastructure, ensuring robust visibility into system health and performance.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks that enable fast, safe deployments and improve developer workflows.
Collaborate with other engineering and product teams to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure reliability and efficiency are embedded into our services.
Establish and share best practices for infrastructure management, incident response, and post-mortems.
Contribute to defining and implementing AI tooling and standards across the company, ensuring developers have access to scalable and secure AI platforms.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering, including some experience leading or mentoring other engineers.
Hands-on expertise in observability practices and tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and familiarity with SRE principles.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes), and experience building scalable systems.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across teams (development, QA, product).
Passion for automation, reliability, and developer efficiency, with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Preferred (Not Essential)

Experience leading DevOps/SRE transformations or implementing reliability engineering practices at scale.
Previous software engineering experience.

We are seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of internal platforms used by enterprise infrastructure teams. • Architect, build, and own full-stack software platforms supporting enterprise infrastructure and operations teams.
• Lead the technical design of systems that ingest, process, analyze, and expose infrastructure and operational data at scale.

We’re looking for an accomplished Staff DevOps Engineer to help shape and evolve our cloud, DevOps, and SRE platforms. In this role, you will design and implement the tools, automation, and infrastructure that support reliable, secure, and scalable service delivery across our environments. You will play a key role in improving platform reliability, operational efficiency, scalability, and consistency, working across teams to deliver resilient and well-governed solutions. Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of reliable, scalable, performant, and secure production platforms and services.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure and deployment patterns.

Essential skills and experience

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or software engineering roles.

Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, along with effective scripting and automation capability.
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices across infrastructure, platforms, and services.
Significant hands-on experience in at least one major cloud platform, with broad exposure across AWS, GCP, or OCI.

This role focuses on designing, operating, and evolving observability platforms with a strong emphasis on metrics, logging, and alerting. The primary tooling is Grafana and Prometheus, with responsibility for ensuring production systems are observable, reliable, and operable at scale. The role works closely with platform, infrastructure, and application teams.

• Design, build, and operate observability platforms based on Grafana and Prometheus

We're looking for an accomplished Staff Software Engineer (DevX) to drive the development of tools and platforms that enhance our developers’ experience. In this role, you'll build and integrate software solutions that streamline coding, testing, and deployment processes, making our engineering teams more effective and efficient. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to identify workflow bottlenecks and implement innovative solutions, acting as a technical leader in shaping our internal development ecosystem. Reporting to the DevX Manager (Observability & DevX), you'll also mentor other engineers and uphold best practices in code quality, automation, and performance.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop internal software tools, services, and frameworks that improve the developer experience (e.g. custom CLI tools, development environment enhancements, test automation frameworks).
Work with engineering teams to gather requirements and feedback for developer tools, then iterate on solutions to ensure they address real-world needs.
Improve and maintain our CI/CD pipeline code and infrastructure, ensuring build and deployment processes are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
Contribute to the architecture of our developer platform by evaluating new technologies and integrating open-source solutions to enhance productivity.
Mentor and guide other software engineers in using DevX tools and adopting best practices for efficient software delivery.
Ensure all DevX solutions are well-documented, maintainable, and secure; actively participate in code reviews and design discussions to uphold high standards.
Partner with engineering teams to define and enforce AI standards within the developer ecosystem, ensuring consistent, scalable, and secure adoption of AI-driven solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

5+ years' experience in Software Engineering or DevOps roles, with a focus on building developer tooling or platforms.
Programming skills in one or more languages (such as Python, Java, Go, or C#), with the ability to write clean, maintainable code for internal tools and services.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and build/release processes, including familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Solid understanding of software development best practices (version control, code reviews, automated testing) and experience integrating these into automated workflows.
Proficiency with containerization and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/OCI) to support on-demand development and testing environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks that improve developer productivity.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, with experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects to successful outcomes.

Preferred (Not Essential)

Contributions to open-source developer tools or active involvement in the developer community.

You will collaborate closely with product, design, technology, and data science teams, you will be part of the backend platform team to build new backend services, processes, and components and improve existing ones.

You will take a lead role in reviewing code changes within your team and provide thoughtful feedback to drive quality and best practices. You will actively evaluate technologies for applications and make recommendations aligned with team and product needs.

You’ll mentor engineers at various levels, sharing your knowledge of code maintainability, performance, reliability, observability, security, and functionality.
