The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.

To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), as the main ICT service provider in NATO, is the main technical entity providing subject matter expertise to support NATO Cyber and Digital Transformation (CDT) Branch’s Innovation Programmes of Work (PoW) and relevant activities in 2026. NCIA Chief Technology Office (CTO) is looking for a Contractor who will provide full-stack software development support to the PoW projects.

The travel, lodging and associated expenses for travel are included in the price of the bid (NTE), such that the purchaser shall not be invoiced.

Extraordinary Travel (Purchaser Directed Travel) may be required to other NATO or non- ATO locations as necessary. In the event of such unforeseen meetings being called, the cost of all travel and subsistence will be addressed through a contract amendment.

• Engaging with C-Level Executives, acting as a trusted advisor to navigate their challenges and demonstrate the value of Alma’s solutions.
• Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in Benelux and Europe
• Contributing to the optimisation of internal processes to support Alma's scalability
• Maximizing Alma’s take rate by ensuring activated merchants are fully optimized
• Organizing and tracking all sales activities via our CRM

About you 

You will be a good fit for the role if you have:

• You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles (excluding internships & apprenticeships), with a proven track record in B2B software sales.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English is mandatory
• You have excellent communication skills
• You have in-depth knowledge of navigating the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with experience in negotiation and contract signing
• You have a strong organizational and structured approach to understanding the complexities of retailers' needs, with a high level of accountability and a methodical approach to ensure consistent follow-ups with prospects until closing

What You Will Do

• Partner on HR Policies: Work directly with the HR Manager to research, draft, and implement internal policies (e.g., remote work frameworks, wellbeing programs, car/mobility policies, and CSR initiatives).
• Support Talent Acquisition: Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing specialized AI talent to managing the candidate pipeline.
• Drive Employer Branding: Help execute local initiatives (social media, campus events) to position Artefact as the employer of choice for tech talent in Belgium.
• People Operations & Compliance: Assist with the administrative lifecycle—onboarding, contract prep, and ensuring our processes align with Belgian labor standards.
• Foster Culture: Help organize internal events and workshops that reinforce our "One Artefact" spirit.

What You Bring

• Current Student Status: You must be enrolled in a University or High School program (Hogeschool/Haute École). This internship is unpaid and governed by an internship agreement (stageovereenkomst/convention de stage) provided by your school.
• Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is highly valued for navigating Belgian social legislation.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and curious about learning HRIS and recruitment tools.
• Reliability: A high level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
