The Area Manager role at Blank Street is a key area leadership position, responsible for overseeing multiple locations and leading a team of General Managers. A core focus is building strong leadership by hiring, developing, and promoting talent while fostering a high-performing, cohesive culture across the area. With a strong grasp of area-level P&L, the Area Manager coaches General Managers to make sound financial and operational decisions. It also leads short-term planning and forecasting across labor and inventory to ensure smooth operations. As the link between HQ and the field, the Area Manager implements new initiatives, drives adoption, and shares insights to continuously improve how we operate. This role requires regular travel across Boston and reports to the Director of Operations.

About the Role
The Profile Traits team owns how customer profile data is represented, stored, mutated, and served across Klaviyo. Profile traits are one of the most critical primitives in the platform: they power segmentation, personalization, flows, analytics, and emerging AI-driven features.
As Engineering Manager, Profile Traits, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for building and scaling these foundational systems. This role sits at the intersection of distributed systems, data modeling, and product semantics, with a strong emphasis on correctness, performance, and long-term platform evolution.
You will partner closely with product managers and adjacent platform teams (Events, Identity & Consent, Segmentation, Flows) to ensure profile data remains reliable, fast, and easy to reason about as Klaviyo continues to grow.

Toast is launching a new initiative to bring the power of voice AI into the in-store restaurant experience. While voice has transformed drive-thru and phone ordering, we believe there’s a large opportunity to make in-store experiences better for guests and more proficient for restaurant teams. This team will explore voice capabilities across front-of-house (guest ordering, service interactions, POS assistance) and back-of-house (kitchen coordination, hands-free workflows, inventory signals). As the Principal Product Manager — Voice AI (In-Store) on the Commerce Platform, you’ll define strategy, evaluate vendors and partners, run zero→one discovery and pilots in real restaurants, and lead commercialization — creating a reusable voice platform that powers multiple use cases across the restaurant.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
