What you'll be doing

What you'll do

As the Senior Software Engineer for Product Recommendations, you will be a key contributor in building the machine learning–powered systems that decide which products to show to whom and when across all channels powered by our platform. This hands-on backend role focuses on converting billions of behavioral events into personalized product recommendations that drive revenue for merchants. You will define technical direction, build, and operate services and data pipelines end to end, from data ingestion and feature generation to ranking models and APIs.

As Axon's Senior Director, Business Technology (IT CRM), you'll lead one of the most important technology platforms in the company. Junior Technology Project Manager

The Junior Technology Project Manager (Analyst) will support the delivery of technology initiatives within Accordion’s Global Technology organization. About the Role

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and hands-on Staff Backend Software Engineer to drive the technical direction and architecture of our core backend systems. This role is a critical force multiplier, focusing on complex cross-team initiatives, technical strategy, and mentoring senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design, review, and implementation of complex, large-scale, and highly available backend services and microservices.
• Serve as an active individual contributor, writing high-quality, maintainable code and tackling the most challenging technical problems.
• Define and drive improvements in performance, scalability, monitoring, and operational excellence, ensuring our systems meet demanding SLOs/SLIs.
• Work closely with Engineering Directors/Sr. Managers and Product Managers to define the long-term technical roadmap, identifying strategic investments in core infrastructure and managing technical debt.
• Act as the lead technical mentor and coach for multiple engineers, defining best practices, conducting rigorous code and design reviews, and raising the overall technical bar across the entire backend organization.
• Lead technical collaboration and coordination across different teams, resolving major technical blockers, and standardizing shared services and technologies.
• Take on increasing responsibilities related to process and project leadership, including driving quarterly planning, leading post-mortems, and starting to formally participate in candidate interviewing and onboarding.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive professional software engineering experience, with significant time spent leading projects and driving technical direction.
• Mastery in designing, building, and operating distributed, high-volume backend systems and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, Java, Go, Python, C#) with the adaptability to work with multiple languages.
• Proven ability to architect solutions using modern patterns, including event-driven architectures, domain-driven design, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expert knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and proficiency in operational tools for monitoring, logging, and CI/CD.
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of influencing technical decisions across organizational boundaries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and DevOps principles.

The target annual base pay range for this role is  $134,900 to $197,900.

This target annual base pay range represents our good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role. We use a market-based compensation approach to set our target annual base pay ranges and make adjustments annually. We carefully tailor individual compensation packages, including base pay, taking into consideration employees’ job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and other relevant business factors.

Job Summary:

In this strategic role as a Partner Solution Architect you are a senior individual contributor who serves as a technical authority for Reltio’s partner echosystem.  You bring deep expertise in MDM architecture, design patterns, and program-level strategy applying Reltio and industry best practices to ensure high-quality, scalable, and repeatable partner-led implementations. 

Your focus is on enabling, guiding, and governing partner solution design and dlievery, rather than owning day-to-day project execution.  You work across partners, customers and internal reltio teams to drive architectural consistency, reduce delivery risk, and accelerate partner maturity.  This role positions you as a trusted advisor to partners and key tecnical bridge between Product, Engineering, Professional Services and Customer success.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a senior technical authority for Reltio within the partner echosystem, with deep expertise in MDM, integraton patterns, solution architecture, and Relito’s product capabilities and roadmap. Provide architectural oversight and guidance for partner-led Reltio MDM solution designs, ensuring alignment with Reltio standards, MDM principles, and customer requirementsEnable partners to successfully design and deliver Reltio implementations through prescriptive guidance, reviews, and best practices, rather than direct ownership of deliveryLead and guide partner solution architects and technical teams, influencing solution quality and architectural decisions across multiple engagements
• Guide and validate reference architectures, solution patterns, and implementation approaches for customer deployments delivered by partners
  Ensures quality, efficiency and accuracy of partner-led implementations for Reltio customers through design reviews, checkpoints, and governance mechanisms Support multiple partner projects simultaneously with global and distributed paratner teams
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, Professional Services, and Customer Success to align partner guidance with product direction and field feedbackCBuild and maintain trusted relationships with partner technical leaders and customer stakeholders
• Develop and evolve repeatable partner-facing assets, including methodologies, templates, tools, architectural guidelines, and best-practice documentation
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Skills You Must Have: 

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical field
• Master's degree in a technical field is recommended 
• At least 6 years of overall technology implementations and progressive delivery in a technology or professional services organization delivering moderate to complex technology solutions
• Ideally have 2 years experience with MDM platforms and has completed 2 MDM implementations

Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS), Cloud delivery, and other SaaS platforms/solutions Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce, Veeva), ERP, accounting systems and provisioning systems is recommendedExperience with Object Oriented technologies

• Experience with business process and governance is recommended
• Industry / Domain experience 
• Certifications in Java, Scrum/Agile methodology, cloud provider certifications
