ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Disputes Operations Analyst II, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of client dispute claims, including those related to debit cards, credit cards, and non-debit transactions. This role focuses on reviewing and validating claim data, filing disputes with external vendors, and ensuring each case is handled accurately and in accordance with regulatory and network requirements. You will play a key role in investigating transaction activity, assessing claim legitimacy, and taking appropriate action to mitigate financial and operational risk. Additionally, you will contribute to strengthening dispute processes, identifying trends, and supporting improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and the overall client experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Manage the full dispute lifecycle, from initial claim intake to final resolution, for debit card, credit card, and non-debit related disputes. 
• Accurately file dispute claims with third-party vendors and financial institutions.
• Conduct meticulous data review and analysis to validate the legitimacy of all submitted claims in accordance with Business Bank requirements.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

Role Overview

The Senior Finance Controller -India, will own end-to-end financial operations for OpenFX’s India entity, building the finance function from the ground up. This role is responsible for establishing payroll, accounts payable, local treasury, and statutory compliance infrastructure, creating a scalable foundation as India operations grow.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this individual will operate as the senior finance leader on the ground in Bangalore, partnering closely with the global finance team to ensure alignment with group-level controls, reporting standards, and strategic priorities.

Core Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain the India finance function end-to-end: payroll processing, accounts payable, expense management, and vendor payments
• Evaluate the current outsourced accounting arrangements and decide whether to retain, restructure, or bring capabilities in-house

Payroll & Employee Operations

Statutory Compliance & Tax

• Ensure timely filing and compliance with all Indian statutory requirements: GST returns, TDS returns, PF/ESI filings, professional tax, and advance tax payments
• Own monthly payroll tax review and reconciliation
• Manage quarterly VAT claims and returns, corporate tax computations and accruals
• Coordinate annual corporate tax returns, R&D tax claims, and other regulatory filings
• Partner with external auditors and tax advisors to support statutory audits and transfer pricing documentation

Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate books for the India entity under Indian GAAP (and support US GAAP consolidation)
• Deliver monthly close for the India entity within group timelines, including intercompany reconciliations
• Provide regular financial reporting to the global finance team, including variance analysis and commentary
• Ensure audit-ready financial records and strong documentation practices

Local Treasury & Banking

• Manage India banking relationships, account structures, and signatory controls
• Oversee local cash positioning, fund requisitions from the group, and foreign exchange exposures
• Implement cash flow forecasting for India operations

Qualifications

• • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification
  • 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role managing India entity finance end-to-end
  • Deep expertise in Indian statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Companies Act)
  • Experience building finance operations from scratch in a high-growth or startup environment

Account Payable Specialist / Accounts Payable Executive

Job Description

The Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for day-to-day recording and accounting of the procure-to-pay process, including treasury operations for the company. You will be responsible for validating the vendor and invoice inputs, calculating the payment amounts, as well as identifying ways to improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of the procure-to-pay process. To do this effectively you will need to liaise with other teams and coherently solve all stakeholders’ queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute vendor onboarding with documentation, maintaining vendor master, accounting vendor invoices, TDS deductions and payment to vendors as per the payment terms.

• Post day-to-day invoices, month-end journals like reclass journals, monthly, quarterly, and annual accrual journals.

• Prepare and support month end reporting, including provisions calculation, schedules, and analysis of all payments to vendors and employees.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams for smooth day-to-day operations.

• Verify employee expense claims as per the Company policy, accounting, and prepare list of payment to the employees for review.

• Booking of intercompany invoices to parent/affiliate companies.

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliation statement and documentation.

• Provide support to internal, statutory and tax audits related queries.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Commerce Graduate or post-graduate with 2–3 years of experience in Accounting and Accounts Payable function, ideally with experience in medium-to-large organizations.

• Good in accounting ERP like NetSuite, procurement system Coupa and Microsoft Office – intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

• Ability to meet and establish deadlines.

• Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical, time-management, inter-personal and communication skills, and an effective team player.
