The Creative team at AKQA (part of WPP) applies artistry and craftsmanship to strategic insight, bringing to life beautiful and technologically innovative ideas that move the world. As an Associate Creative Director (Art/Design) in our Amsterdam studio, you’ll inspire and lead a team to craft visually striking concepts and executions across CGI, motion design, and interactive media. With a foundation in art direction and deep expertise in production, you will direct specialized CGI artists and guide cross-disciplinary teams to create cinematic, technically precise, and emotionally-resonant work. From large-scale digital platforms and motion-led brand systems, to experimental storytelling powered by emerging tools, you’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible in digital creativity.
You’re a visionary creative leader who thinks like a filmmaker, builds like a technician, and creates like a storyteller, bringing together craft, innovation, and strategy to shape work that influences culture and elevates global brands.
As part of the AKQA team and based in our Amsterdam studio, you’ll work in an environment that fosters a dynamic and inclusive culture, enabled by our multidisciplinary approach and supported by some of the brightest minds in their field. The Delivery team sits at the heart of everything we do, ensuring work is delivered with precision, care, and commercial clarity. As Associate Programme Director for the Amsterdam office, you will lead a portfolio of complex, technology-led production programmes, including work shaped by AI and advanced CGI techniques.
You will steward programme health end-to-end, balancing client ambition with agency capability, and building delivery models that are efficient, scalable, and future-facing. A key part of your role is helping evolve how AI-enabled workflows and modern production methods are applied across creative output.
You will partner with clients as a trusted advisor, helping them navigate opportunity, complexity, and change - while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver work of exceptional quality. In doing so, you will help shape how emerging technologies are meaningfully integrated into delivery practice.
Based in central Amsterdam, you will collaborate across AKQA’s European studios in a culture built on ownership, curiosity, and craft, working alongside specialists who push the boundaries of creative technology and production.

This role sits within a newly established global in‑house studio in Amsterdam, created for a leading international domestic appliances brand. The studio operates with the speed and creative ambition of an agency, combined with the strategic depth and scale of an in‑house team - delivering social‑first, digital‑led creative across global and local markets.
As a Creative Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for developing sharp, engaging, and platform‑native copy that brings everyday products to life. From social content and proactive ideas to integrated digital campaigns, you’ll help translate product benefits into compelling stories that connect with modern audiences.
You’ll work closely with Art Directors, Designers, Content Creators, Strategists, and Account teams to deliver work that is on‑brand, culturally relevant, and commercially effective. You’ll manage briefs from start to finish, present work to clients, and help evolve the brand’s tone of voice across channels and markets.

A Client Partner is a leadership position that requires expertise in transformational programs of work that deliver positive outcomes through products and service ecosystems, differentiated business models and the brand experience surrounding them. This role is central to driving the commercial health of the studio by ensuring the quality of AKQA deliverables, strong client satisfaction, and high employee engagement.
The Client Partner will drive existing and new deliverables, lead pitches and pursue new growth opportunities for the studio. As a key member of the Client Services team, the Client Partner will play a pivotal role in providing leadership so that the CS team-members have the best environment for excellence. Reporting to the Client Services Director, you will partner with our Leads and interdisciplinary teams to create a work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
Located on the Nieuwe Herengracht in central Amsterdam, you will also have access to our diverse network of specialists by collaborating across our European, Middle East and South African studios.
