We are building the next layer of India's cross-border payments infrastructure — and we need someone who understands how that infrastructure actually works. This role sits at the intersection of banking partnerships, global payment rails, and India's emerging GIFT City / IFSCA ecosystem.
You will be the primary relationship owner for our banking and financial institution partners — driving new corridors, deepening existing relationships, and translating complex regulatory and technical landscapes into actionable, revenue-generating solutions for our merchants and partners.

About The Company:
AlphaGrep is a quantitative trading and investment firm founded in 2010. We are one of the largest firms by trading volume on Indian exchanges and have significant market share on several large global exchanges as well. We use a disciplined and systematic quantitative approach to identify factors that consistently generate alpha. These factors are then coupled with our proprietary ultra-low latency trading systems and robust risk management to develop trading strategies across asset classes (equities, commodities, currencies, fixed income) that trade on global exchanges.
We are seeking looking for an experienced Regional Head – Sales to lead our Mutual Fund business in Ahmedabad . This is a strategic role responsible for driving AUM growth, expanding distribution networks, and strengthening relationships with key partners across the region
Role Objective: The Regional Head of Sales will be responsible for driving mutual fund AUM growth and market penetration across the assigned zone by leading channel partners and distribution sales. The role involves building strong distributor relationships, expanding the partner network, executing sales strategies, and ensuring achievement of revenue, AUM, and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel & Distribution Sales Leadership
Own AUM, gross sales, net sales, and SIP targets for the zone
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national business goals
Ensure strong pipeline management and conversion discipline
2. Distributor & Partner Relationship Management
Build long-term strategic relationships with top distributors and key accounts
Identify and onboard new high-potential distributors and IFAs
Drive distributor engagement programs, training sessions, and product awareness initiatives
Act as an escalation point for key partner issues
3. Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify growth opportunities in underpenetrated cities and new investor segments.
Promote SIP, long-term investing, and solution-based selling
Support the launch and promotion of new products and campaigns
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine strategy
Experience:
8-10 years of experience in mutual fund distribution.
Strong focus on non-institutional/retail distribution (institutional business will be handled separately by leadership)
Experience managing and training teams, particularly freshers/management trainees
Open to travel and managing larger territories
Deep understanding of their respective regional markets
