Senior Research Strategist

We are seeking a highly motivated and market-savvy Senior Research Strategist to support our Retail and Private Wealth businesses in Singapore. This role will be responsible for producing market insights, investment research, and thought leadership content across U.S. equities, Singapore equities, macroeconomics, and key investment themes. The candidate will also collaborate with the Southeast Asia Research Team to deliver regional market perspectives and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and provide market insights on global macroeconomics, U.S. equities, Singapore equities, and key investment themes.
• Develop market outlooks, investment commentaries, and thought leadership content for Retail and Private Wealth clients.
• Monitor and analyze Singapore’s economic landscape, capital markets, listed companies, and regulatory developments.
• Deliver weekly online and offline investor education seminars, webinars, and client events.
• Translate complex market developments into actionable and engaging insights for investors.
• Act as a market spokesperson through media interviews, webinars, videos, podcasts, and public speaking engagements.
• Collaborate with Regional Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Product, and Wealth Management teams to support client acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Participate in the Southeast Asia Research Team, contributing to regional macroeconomic analysis, market outlooks, and investment themes.
• Contribute Singapore-focused equity research, IPO assessments, and market analysis to the regional research platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Strategy, Macro Research, Wealth Advisory, or related financial markets roles.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. equities, global financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and investment strategies.
• Solid understanding of Singapore’s economy, capital markets, listed companies, and investment landscape.
• Experience covering IPOs, primary markets, or equity research is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality research reports, market commentaries, and investment insights.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with experience conducting webinars, seminars, media interviews, or client-facing events.
• Ability to simplify complex investment concepts for both retail and sophisticated investors.
• Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets is an advantage.
• CFA, CAIA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications are preferred.
