About this Investment Strategist role at moomoo
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep-dive investment research and produce high-quality, client-facing content covering U.S. equities, options, futures, and other derivatives.
- Deliver bespoke investment advisory to High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients. This includes developing tailored investment themes, providing strategic asset allocation and trade execution support, resolving day-to-day market inquiries, and actively participating in key client meetings/pitches.
- Draft thematic market commentary and client educational materials for U.S. and Canada markets. Develop actionable investment strategy content, craft effective talking points/pitch scripts, and conduct ongoing training to empower Relationship Managers (RMs).
- Contribute to the development of the department's product matrix by curating tailored financial solutions that align with clients' risk/return profiles. Ensure all product selections align with the firm's overarching "house view" and translate team consensus into actionable, client-ready proposals.
- Perform client segmentation analysis to design scalable & customized global investment & operational strategies. Based on these insights, develop and implement customized, ongoing service models and engagement plans tailored to different client tiers.
Requirements
- Education and Major: Degree from a well-known institution in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment, Business, or related fields.
- Proven experience in U.S. equity markets, specializing in Equity Research or Option Trading, with additional knowledge of cryptocurrency investments.
- At least 3 years of experience in high-net-worth client service (as a relationship manager or investment advisor) or in investment strategy/financial middle office, with proven methodologies and successful experience in driving client investment strategy services, product sales, and wealth management services to frontline teams.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with a strong sense of teamwork.
- Language skills: Native English + Chinese.
- License Requirement: FINRA License is required (Required:FINRA SIE, Series 7/63/86/87)
