About You
You are a strategic and results-driven digital product leader with a passion for delivering exceptional online experiences. You bring proven experience leading digital products and transformation initiatives, balancing customer needs, commercial objectives, and technical requirements to achieve measurable outcomes.
With strong expertise in product roadmap management, Agile delivery, and digital best practice, you're comfortable leading complex projects, influencing senior stakeholders, and collaborating across diverse teams. You take a data-driven approach to decision-making and have a solid understanding of SEO, website platforms, and digital performance optimisation.
Most importantly, you're a proactive problem-solver and collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys mentoring others while driving meaningful digital change.
About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Digital Product Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives across Journey Beyond's portfolio of brands. Reporting to the Group Manager – Digital Experience, you'll own the digital product roadmap, lead website and platform projects, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and measurable business outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic digital change, influence senior stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping the future of Journey Beyond's digital ecosystem. This role is a 2-year contract.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead end-to-end digital delivery for new website builds and platform migrations. Owning timelines, sprint cadences, and risk management to keep programmes moving, and acting as the primary problem solver to unblock delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams.
- Build and maintain a prioritised product roadmap that balances strategic intent with delivery reality. Owning the product backlog end-to-end – from discovery through to groomed, sprint-ready stories – ensuring resource is allocated toward the highest-return initiatives at all times.
- Run structured discovery to validate assumptions before committing to build – drawing on user research, analytics, and competitive benchmarking to develop clear problem statements and opportunity briefs that ground the team in outcomes rather than outputs.
- Work across a mix of internal and external stakeholders – including brand teams, commercial leaders, agency partners, and technology vendors – to provide clear direction, reporting, and alignment. Influencing and gaining commitment from teams and leaders who sit outside direct reporting lines.
- Bring working knowledge across SEO and GEO, platform architecture, website performance benchmarks, and technology selection. Making informed build vs buy vs adapt decisions and ensuring new digital products are delivered to market in line with best practice standards.
- Own success metrics for each product initiative – thinking in terms of outcomes (conversion, traffic, engagement) rather than outputs (features shipped). Work with data analysts to understand consumer behaviour and build insights into design, optimisation, and ongoing measurement.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to direct reports (anticipated to include a Product Manager and Business Analyst), fostering a high performance team culture and supporting the professional growth of the broader digital team.
- Deliver clear, compelling communication to varied audiences including senior leadership, brand teams, and external partners. Developing formal briefs, status reports, and strategic updates that support executive decision-making and maintain confidence in the programme.
