Psychologist – Doha, Qatar
Pulse Mental Health is recruiting Psychologists for an established private mental health service in Doha, Qatar. We are keen to hear from Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists and Psychologists with experience in child and adolescent services, family therapy, couples therapy, trauma or complex mental health presentations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the leading mental health provider in the region, working within a multidisciplinary team alongside Consultant Psychiatrists and experienced international Psychologists. Due to exceptionally high demand and extensive waiting lists, successful candidates can expect to build a caseload quickly while working with a diverse client group presenting with a broad range of mental health concerns.

Responsibilities
As a Psychologist, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention to a varied client population.
- Manage a caseload of individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties.
- Work with clients experiencing complex trauma, high-risk presentations and emotional difficulties.
- Conduct specialist therapeutic work within your area of expertise, including adult, child and adolescent, couples or family therapy where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Consultant Psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop personalised treatment plans that support positive clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and professional clinical records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the continued development of a high-quality psychological service.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Current registration with an appropriate professional body.
- Experience delivering psychological therapy within mental health services.
- Strong assessment, formulation and therapeutic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Desirable:
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Experience providing couples therapy or family therapy.
- Experience managing complex trauma or high-risk presentations.
- Previous experience within private healthcare or international settings.
- Additional training in specialist therapeutic modalities.
