About this Occupational Therapist - Major Adaptations role at Liquid Personnel
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a supportive OT Advice and Wellbeing Hub on a temporary basis.
This opportunity is ideal for an OT with strong major adaptations experience who enjoys using their clinical expertise to help people remain safe, independent and well within their own homes.
You will be responsible for completing specialist assessments, undertaking home visits and producing detailed recommendations to support complex adaptation projects, working closely with housing teams, surveyors and wider professionals.

What will your responsibilities be?
- Complete specialist OT assessments for major adaptations.
- Undertake home visits to assess functional needs and environmental barriers.
- Recommend appropriate solutions to support independence and wellbeing.
- Produce detailed adaptation specifications and professional reports.
- Assess and advise on complex adaptations including:
- Stairlifts
- Level access showers and wet rooms
- Ramps and access solutions
- Specialist equipment and home modifications
- Work collaboratively with housing colleagues, surveyors and adaptation professionals.
- Support residents through the adaptation process with a person-centred approach.
- Provide clear clinical reasoning and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
- Significant experience within major adaptations.
- Strong understanding of adaptation pathways and processes.
- Experience completing home assessments and writing detailed specifications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with wider teams.
