About this Adults Social Worker – Community Team role at Liquid Personnel
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adults Social Worker for its client’s Community Team based in Croydon. This is a full-time agency role offering up to £34 per hour, with hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults within the local community.

Your Duties as an Adults Social Worker
- Manage a caseload of adults with varying levels of need, including complex cases where appropriate
- Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and reassessments
- Develop and review person-centred support plans that promote independence and wellbeing
- Undertake safeguarding enquiries and manage risk effectively
- Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and apply the Mental Capacity Act where appropriate
- Support hospital discharges and help prevent unnecessary admissions
- Work collaboratively with health services, housing providers, voluntary organisations, and other partner agencies
- Provide information, advice, and guidance to adults and their carers
- Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support and mentor less experienced colleagues where required
Qualifications and Experience Required
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent)
- Current Social Work England (SWE) registration
- Experience completing assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within Adult Social Care
- Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and related legislation
- Strong multi-agency partnership working skills
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to practice
