Position Overview
A well-established outpatient primary care clinic in Lake Havasu, Arizona, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its collaborative family medicine team.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive, relationship-based primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. You will have the autonomy to evaluate patients, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop treatment plans, and promote preventive health—all with strong clinical and administrative support.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $120,000–$140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and common medical conditions
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and other ongoing health concerns
- Perform annual physicals, wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine follow-up appointments
- Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Educate patients regarding preventive care, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and medication adherence
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and support staff
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
- Participate in care coordination, population health, and quality-improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program in the United States
- Active Arizona NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain one
- National board certification appropriate to the provider’s discipline
- DEA registration, or the ability to obtain it before the start date
- Ability to provide primary care to patients across the lifespan
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Program eligibility requirement: Applicants must have graduated from a qualifying U.S.-based NP or PA program. Puerto Rico-based programs are not eligible for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of outpatient family medicine, primary care, or internal medicine experience
- Experience managing both acute and chronic medical conditions
- Familiarity with preventive care, population health, and quality measures
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
