A DAY IN LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• Perform daily calibration, alignment, and health checks on conveyors, DWS, WCS, and X-ray machines.
• Act as the first responder for equipment breakdowns, carrying out quick rectification (“First Aid”) to minimize downtime.
• Support and supervise vendor maintenance visits, ensuring proper repairs and follow-ups.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems, LV panels, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical issues in hub machinery and facility systems.
• Maintain facility infrastructure including lighting, HVAC, firefighting, CCTV, access systems, and plumbing.
• Drive safe machine usage and adherence to operational guidelines including user trainings.
• Data worksheet and performance driven approach - documentation savvy.
• Maintain accurate calibration logs, checklists, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• Chargeman AO/A4 certification preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in electrical or facility maintenance (logistics, manufacturing, or automation background preferred).
• Strong hands-on skills in machine calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiar with conveyors, weighing/scanning systems, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, firefighting, CCTV, BMS).
• Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse/industrial environment.
• Willingness to work on on-call when needed / during weekends / whenever there is a emergency.
