We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Frontend Architect to lead the technical direction of modern, high-performance web applications. This role is ideal for an engineering leader who combines deep expertise in React and TypeScript with strong architectural thinking and a passion for building scalable, maintainable frontend systems.

As a key technical leader, you will define frontend architecture, establish engineering standards, and collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver responsive, reliable, and feature-rich user experiences. You will be responsible for designing scalable frontend foundations, solving complex performance challenges, and enabling engineering teams to build high-quality applications through reusable patterns, best practices, and technical mentorship.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience building enterprise-scale web applications, architecting complex user interfaces, and driving frontend innovation while balancing business priorities with long-term platform sustainability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the frontend architecture, including module boundaries, application structure, state management, rendering strategies, and extensibility.
• Drive technical strategy by creating architecture proposals, leading design reviews, and establishing engineering best practices.
• Design and optimize high-performance user interfaces capable of handling complex data, large documents, and interactive application workflows.
• Identify and resolve rendering, memory, and performance bottlenecks to ensure responsive user experiences across long-running sessions.
• Architect scalable frontend solutions for real-time collaboration and distributed application workflows.
• Design robust state management solutions using modern libraries such as Zustand, Redux, Recoil, Jotai, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and Platform teams to define APIs, technical requirements, and implementation strategies.
• Establish quality standards through automated testing, CI/CD quality gates, observability, monitoring, and release management practices.
• Lead code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture workshops to promote engineering excellence across development teams.
• Mentor frontend engineers by providing technical guidance, architectural direction, and career development support.
• Continuously evaluate emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to improve platform capabilities and developer productivity.
• Balance hands-on development with long-term technical planning to ensure scalable and maintainable application growth.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 10+ years of experience building enterprise-scale web applications.
• 2–4 years of experience leading frontend architecture and defining technical strategy.
• Strong expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern frontend application architecture.
• Proven experience designing complex user interfaces such as editors, dashboards, canvas-based applications, node-based workflows, timelines, or other highly interactive systems.
• Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, rendering strategies, memory management, and browser performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with modern state management solutions including Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Jotai, or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of frontend design patterns, component architecture, and scalable application development.
• Experience collaborating with backend teams on API design, distributed systems, and real-time application architectures.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and frontend quality engineering practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and system design capabilities.
