About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Family Nurse Practitioner who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and families while practicing in a supportive outpatient setting. You'll provide comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute sick visits, and health maintenance.
Your day will include evaluating patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions, conducting annual wellness exams, managing ongoing health concerns, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices. You'll work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff while maintaining the autonomy to manage your own patient panel.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages
- Perform preventive health examinations and annual wellness visits
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment and care plans
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions
- Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare services as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for licensure
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Current BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Background
- Previous outpatient family medicine or primary care experience
- Experience managing patients across the lifespan
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
