The Role:

Job Summary: 

Focusrite Group in Education bridges the gap between the classroom and the professional audio industry. We equip schools, educators, and students with world class tools, namely audio interfaces, MIDI controllers, synths, speakers and headphones, practical guidance and thought leadership resources. We help educators teach with confidence and students create with purpose, preparing the next generation of creators for success.

The Education & B2B Marketing Coordinator’s primary goals are successful implementation of EDU and B2B brand building/strengthening marketing campaigns and demand generation activities. Successful campaigns will target two main groups: education (namely school, campus, teacher, administrator, and student) and B2B (namely integrator and pro cross-brand).

Additionally, this role works alongside the Focusrite Group Professional team (the Director, B2B Partner Development, the Director, EDU Partner Development, and the Senior Manager of Sales) serving as the logistical point person, supporting events, demos, and business development activities.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Education & B2B Marketing Coordinator will be working between marketing and business development teams to realize engaging lead-generation campaigns in North and Latin America for brands across the Focusrite Group.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Leading EDU and B2B Marketing Initiatives 

  • Support the Director of Marketing and Focusrite Group Professional team in establishing and evaluating an EDU marketing strategy and plan.
  • Curate education market campaigns, tracked against set KPIs, on schedule and to budget, working with multiple marketing teams, local and global, across Focusrite Group Content Creation brands
  • Research and maintain annual EDU calendar for digital and in-person events:

o   Coordinate exhibit plans for chosen events, with occasional participation where necessary

o   Plan, promote, produce and review Focusrite Group Education and B2B webinars

o   Review and negotiate education event sponsorships and donation requests

  • Project management, from conception to completion, of EDU and D2C Expert Guides and case studies
  • Research and book advertising placements to support marketing campaigns. Work with creative and copy writing resources to provide promotional assets to relevant media partners, reviewers, bloggers and editors
  • Manage facilitation of Americas dealer/distributor education and integrator marketing communications and product messaging to ensure on-brand, accurate and relevant representation of all Focusrite Group solutions
  • With supervision from Director of Marketing, maintain the US EDU budget, tracking spends, sourcing invoices, and submitting for payment

Logistical and Event Operations 

  • Assist the Focusrite Group Professional team, in planning and execution of EDU and B2B events
  • Coordinate and book demo gear shipments, including immersive rigs, to ensure timely delivery using FedEx or freight carriers
  • Process product seeding, and demo orders with full administrative follow-through in NetSuite, ensuring accurate loan records, policy adherence, and timely returns

What We're Looking For:

  • Required: 2+ years in a marketing role, preferably in a campaign building team
  • Genuine excitement about building a career in education marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong sense of personal accountability; you follow through, full stop
  • Ability to manage high volumes of concurrent tasks without losing accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Some experience with on-brand, professionally voiced marketing copy writing
  • Self-starter with a positive, team-first attitude
  • Ability to adapt quickly and stay composed when priorities shift
  • Any background in event coordination, logistics, or a similarly process-driven role a plus
