As Assistant Principal, you’ll play a critical leadership role in shaping both student success and teacher growth. This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to lead with purpose, inspire educators, and transform lives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coach and Develop Educators
    Use the Framework for Teaching to observe, evaluate, and support teachers through meaningful feedback and individualized growth plans.
  • Lead Instructional Excellence
    Oversee curriculum development, alignment, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality instruction across all classrooms.
  • Support New Teachers
    Manage the Teacher Induction Program and mentor new educators to set them up for long-term success.
  • Drive Student Success Programs
    Plan and supervise Extended School Year (ESY) and credit recovery programs.
  • Build Strong Partnerships
    Serve as a key liaison between families, school districts, advocates, and staff—facilitating collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure Compliance & Operations
    Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to all educational and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Special Education or related field with principal certification required
  • Valid PA Special Education teaching certification required
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in an educational setting related to the instructional process required
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid PA driver’s license and car insurance
