Position Summary

The role will support and partner with the Taiwan CAO and Head of Compliance in coordinating business priorities, office governance, regulatory and control-related initiatives, organizational effectiveness, and selected strategic projects across the Taiwan franchise. The role will work closely with business leaders, Infrastructure partners, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, and regional stakeholders to support disciplined execution of business strategy and alignment with firm-wide objectives.

This position requires a collaborative and hands-on professional who possesses strong business knowledge, can apply sound judgment, coordinate across a matrixed organization, prepare clear analysis and recommendations, and follow through on agreed actions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Management

  • Support the Taiwan CAO in translating business strategic priorities into practical business plans, actions, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate and drive selected initiatives that support business growth, operating efficiency, organizational effectiveness., and broader franchise priorities

  • Maintain action plans, monitor progress against agreed objectives, and escalate issues or dependencies to the Taiwan CAO.

  • Prepare concise presentations, briefing materials, meeting packs, and business updates for management forums.

Taiwan CAO & Franchise Support

  • Support the Taiwan CAO in coordinating the Taiwan office operating agenda, aligning stakeholders on franchise priorities and following up on agreed priorities across Business Units and Infrastructure functions.

  • Coordinate Taiwan Executive Committee and other management forums, including agendas, materials, minutes, decisions, and action tracking.

  • Support leadership transitions, legal entity governance activities, and onboarding of senior leaders by coordinating inputs, approvals, stakeholder engagement and follow-up actions.

  • Assist with office-wide business continuity and incident coordination, including maintaining plans, stakeholder communications, and post-incident actions.

  • Support workplace and office planning initiatives by coordinating with Corporate Services, Technology, Finance, Human Resources, and other relevant partners.

  • Coordinate local office communications, employee engagement, culture, and community initiatives sponsored by the Taiwan CAO.

  • Maintain an integrated calendar of key franchise deliverables, governance requirements, visits, and management events, escalating scheduling or execution risks.

Governance & Risk Management

  •  Support governance activities across the Taiwan franchise and adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate governance forums, management committees, risk reviews and ensure the agreed actions are escalated and tracker appropriately.

  • Track audit actions, remediation plans, and regulatory commitments to timely completion.

  • Support initiatives to enhance processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

  • Coordinate organizational, regulatory, and strategic change initiatives involving multiple business units, and infrastructure functions.

  • Monitor key metrics and performance indicators, escalating trends, issues, and follow-up actions as needed.

Regulatory & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a coordination point between local management, regional stakeholders, and control functions, under the direction of the Taiwan CAO, assisting to facilitate alignment, influence outcomes, and drive execution.

  • Coordinate responses to regulatory requests, examinations, and internal reviews.

  • Coordinate defined cross-functional projects and workstreams

  • Maintain project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and reporting mechanisms.

  • Support implementation of strategic and regulatory change programs, tracking delivery and escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Analyze financial and operational data and prepare insights to support decision-making by the Taiwan CAO and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or related discipline.

  • 7-10+ years of experience in business management, COO, strategy, operations, consulting, finance, or related functions within the financial services industry.

  • Experience supporting senior executives and coordinating cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong understanding of governance, risk management, legal entity management, regulatory environments, and operational controls.

  • Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
