Job Description:

Job Duck is seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant to support a busy Criminal Defense practice by providing high-quality legal and administrative assistance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing accurate work, and genuinely cares about helping clients through challenging situations. You will play an important role in supporting case preparation, maintaining organized legal documentation, and ensuring timely communication with clients. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional support while working collaboratively with the attorney.

• Monthly Compensation: $1,150 to $1,220 per month

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

• Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)

• Industry: Criminal Defense

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a law firm environment is strongly preferred

• Experience drafting legal documents, motions, pleadings, and client correspondence is preferred

• Ability to review and organize legal discovery documents

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
