About the Role
As a UX/CX Designer, you'll join our client's U.S.-based Experience Strategy & Design Studio. It's a small, horizontally structured team that brings strategy, design, and research together around customer experience. The team is building an internal AI experiences hub for about 10,000 enterprise users. You'll design end-to-end experiences for it, from early concepts to working prototypes.
The team uses user-centered design as its core methodology, so you'll already know it well. You'll work in a fast, iterative environment with direct executive engagement, and you'll partner with stakeholders across the organization. Success here means taking an ambiguous problem, setting a clear design direction, and delivering work at the level your portfolio shows, with minimal oversight.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end experiences for internal AI tools, from early concepts and task flows to high-fidelity, working prototypes
- Build and iterate quickly in Lovable using AI-assisted and vibe-coding workflows, moving work into VS Code and merging it with existing projects when needed
- Apply user-centered design methods to frame problems, identify the right questions, and connect user insights to design decisions
- Create design artifacts at different levels of fidelity, including storyboards, wireframes, journey maps, task flows, scenarios, and personas
- Use and contribute to an established design system, including UI controls, content templates, icons, form design, and navigation models
- Plan and facilitate remote and live design thinking workshops with stakeholders and users
- Present design direction and future-state concepts to stakeholders, including executives, in a clear and compelling way
- Validate work with peers, stakeholders, and users through lightweight research and usability checks, then iterate based on what you learn
What You'll Bring
- Training or certification in user-centered design or design thinking from a recognized program such as IDEO, IBM, Stanford, LUMA, or Forrester
- 3+ years of hands-on UX/UI, product, or service design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong UX/UI design skills demonstrated through a portfolio of shipped work
- Hands-on experience designing and prototyping in Lovable
- The ability to gather user context independently and turn it into design strategy and execution without detailed direction
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, including presenting complex concepts to executive audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Experience shipping products or delivering to customers through an end-to-end design process
- Hands-on primary UX research experience, including planning and conducting 1:1 user interviews
- Experience designing, planning, and facilitating live and virtual design thinking workshops
- Experience in the technology sector with enterprise (B2B) customers
- Experience with VS Code, GitHub, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch
Portfolio Requirements
A portfolio is required to be considered for this role. It should show your design process, your role on each project, and examples of shipped or delivered work.
