Test Engineer

Location: Hybrid, 1 day a week onsite moving to a more remote working model - Whiteley, Hampshire
Security Clearance: BPSS

We're looking for a talented Test Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of a large-scale systems integration programme. You'll work as part of a collaborative, agile team, helping to ensure complex software, infrastructure, and integrated systems perform reliably and meet customer expectations.

Working as part of a collaborative agile team, you'll help design, execute and improve testing across complex software, infrastructure and integrated systems, ensuring quality outcomes for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Create and execute test plans, test cases and test reports.
• Perform manual and automated testing across integrated systems.
• Investigate defects, identify root causes and support resolution.
• Work closely with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Report on testing progress, risks and issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in software testing, systems integration, or technical delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of the testing lifecycle, including Functional, Integration and Non-Functional Testing.
• Experience creating test cases from requirements and technical designs.
• Experience testing integrated or third-party systems.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ISTQB/ISEB Foundation qualification or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

• Test automation experience.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Exposure to cloud, infrastructure or enterprise-scale environments.
• Experience within Defence, Aviation, Government or other regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
