WORK YOU’LL DO

As a QA/ Test Analyst, you will ensure the functional readiness of the solutions built, before they go to market. You will design, build, and administer a series of tests and evaluations that identify and potential issues with the product/ solution before its general release, using standard delivery assets to improve clients’ delivery approach.

Responsibilities:

• Providing expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts

• Applying business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives

• Gaining expertise in core business functionalities related to Financial Services

• Execute tests with manual, semi-automated or automated methods (for functional and non-functional test activities) depending on scope

• Identifying and preparing test data according to business requirements and validating data flow to subsequent downstream systems and external applications which also includes verifying data translation to system specific values

• Participating in all phases of software development life cycle

• Liaising with the Software Development and Business Analysis teams

• Ensuring all testing results are easily accessible and understandable and tracking defects to closure and keep defect repository up to date

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR? 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar relevant degree

• Previous working experience as a Test Analyst will be considered an asset

• Adequate coding skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins

• Experience with Test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress or similar

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills and attention to detail

• Potential familiarity with the different concepts of software testing, techniques, and tools
