Acting as the key link between demand plans, suppliers and operational execution, this role identifies and mitigates supply risks while supporting product lifecycle activities. You will maintain planning data integrity and drive informed decisions that improve service, inventory health and business performance.

This is an important role within our team, delivering targeted customer service levels while optimising inventory, working capital and supply performance.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Develop and maintain short and medium-term supply plans across approximately 150 SKUs. Reviewing inventory projections, open orders, lead times, safety stock and supplier constraints.

• Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders directly in line with approved supply plans. Monitor performance across 11 suppliers, coordinate recovery actions and escalate material supply risks.

• Monitor projected inventory and coordinate actions to minimise out-of-stocks, excess stock, ageing and write-off exposure. Prepare monthly inventory projections and clearly communicate key drivers, risks, opportunities and recommended actions.

• Coordinate supply planning activities for product launches, packaging changes and discontinuations. Manage initial stock requirements, timing, shelf-life considerations, residual inventory and write-off exposure, and communicate risks and required actions to stakeholders.

• Analyse the root causes of service, inventory and supplier performance issues and support agreed corrective actions. Improve planning processes, reporting and data quality; evaluate opportunities to use automation, AI and digital tools.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 3+ years experience in supply planning, inventory management, replenishment, purchasing or a related supply-chain role.
• Experience translating demand requirements into achievable supply, purchasing and replenishment plans.
•  Experience identifying supply and inventory risks, communicating impacts and supporting corrective actions.
•  Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver agreed operational outcomes, including product launches, packaging changes or discontinuations.
• FMCG experience is desirable, particularly in food or another shelf-life-sensitive category.
• Qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Logistics or related discipline or equivalent relevant vocational or workplace experience.
