At Fictiv, we’re transforming how complex products are brought to life, and we’re looking for a Strategic Program Manager (SPM) with deep expertise in Aerospace and Robotics to help us accelerate the development and production of groundbreaking technologies.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with industry leaders, guide cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget product launches. Your engineering, operations, and manufacturing expertise will help shape the next generation of technology.
What You’ll Do
- Be the Customer Advocate – Build strong, trusted relationships with aerospace and robotics customers, ensuring exceptional service and long-term loyalty.
- Lead with Collaboration – Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Fulfillment to scope, plan, and execute complex customer programs.
- Mitigate Risks – Identify and address risks during design and production phases to keep projects on track.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert – Provide critical guidance on aerospace and robotics requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
- Drive Continuous Improvement – Optimize production timelines, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
- Communicate with Clarity – Lead status meetings and keep all stakeholders aligned on project goals.
- Innovate Fearlessly – Champion new manufacturing technologies and techniques to speed development and improve delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Robotics, or related Engineering field.
- Experience – 5+ years managing programs in aerospace, robotics, or advanced manufacturing.
- Technical Expertise – Hands-on NPD, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing experience, with knowledge of CNC Machining, 3D Printing, Additive Manufacturing, and Assembly.
- Customer-Facing Skills – Proven ability to lead complex, technical engagements with aerospace and robotics clients.
- Project Leadership – Strong program, risk, and time management abilities with a structured approach.
- Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication across multi-cultural, cross-functional teams.
- Mindset – Problem-solver, relationship-builder, and technology enthusiast.
Other Details
- Travel – 11–25% (domestic and international) to customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and team meetings.
- Work Environment – Primarily office/computer-based with travel requirements.
