- Identify, analyze, reproduce, and document software defects and work closely with developers to drive root-cause investigation and resolution.
- Verify implementation against requirements and ensure bidirectional traceability between requirements, test cases, and validation results.
- Support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) initiatives by integrating automated testing into development pipelines.
- Develop test metrics, coverage reports, and quality dashboards to provide visibility into product quality and release readiness.
- Investigate firmware anomalies and field issues reported by customers, technical support teams, or test teams.
- Participate in risk assessments and ensure appropriate testing is performed for critical product functionality.
- Continuously improve test processes, automation capabilities, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on firmware test methodologies and automation solutions.
- Work effectively within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe development environments.
- Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, development processes, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
