Job Summary:

Cloud Platform Division (CPD) provides cloud platform technology  for Rakuten Mobile.　Cloud Network Department (CNS), part of the CPD team , specializes in networks, which are the core technology of cloud infrastructure. You will be involved in creative and innovative work that advances the mobile network on  daily, together with engineers with advanced cloud technology that is at the core of the world's first "fully virtualized cloud-native mobile network" realized by Rakuten Mobile.            

We are looking for candidate with hands-on experience in Cisco ACI and F5 LTM-GTM in operation role and the candidate should be willing to work in 24/7 shift.

Mandatory Skills:

• F5 LTM/DNS/ASM/AFM domain
• Network switching and Routing Hands-on skills
• Cisco ACI hands-on for at the least 2-3 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 24/7 Ops role in supporting and maintaining Cisco ACI/F5 Big-IP LTM/DNS/ASM/AFM to include set-up, maintenance, upgrades and replacements.
• Perform daily operational tasks submitted by customers through Service management tools
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, devices and appliances in support of infrastructure
• Prepare network or infrastructure topology diagrams, write Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance plans and provide status reports as required, participate in data calls and other operational and maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot network problems, network device configurations and coordinate with various department administrators to facilitate connectivity issue resolution

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge in ITIL incident, change and problem management processes
• Excellent communications skills and ability to interact with Users
• knowledge of networking and systems administration; and the ability to troubleshoot problems
• Experience with tcpdump, Wireshark and analysing network traffic
• Solid troubleshooting skills in ACI/F5
• Demonstrate an ability to craft and understand iRules and SDN technologies
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP network models and provide examples
