The SupplyPlatform team develops robust architectural platforms and foundational features to empower Lyft’s global growth. We are seeking a highly motivated software engineering professional to advance the platform infrastructure supporting autonomous vehicles, premium offerings, taxi integration, and international expansion. You will work with a group of talented engineers and help the team to deliver significant business impact. If you enjoy collaborating with technical and nontechnical partners in a fast-moving space with real-world impact, this is the role for you.

• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Can help lead large projects from idea to positive execution
• Unblock, support and communicate with external and internal partners to achieve results
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Share your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practices

Experience:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with high-level programming languages; experience with Python and Go is a plus.
• BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong background in distributed systems, and proficient in relational or NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience in designing, debugging, and managing fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
• Nice to have: proficiency in AI toolings (Claude code, Cursor, etc).
