Process Overview*

Merrill Edge Datamart is the analytical platform used by campaign managers to design and operate campaigns for the Merrill Edge products. There is a requirement for application production support specialist in the MEDM team. Apart from the production support this resource will be involved in Analysis, Design, development & maintenance of the MEDM platform.

Job Description*

Sound understanding and experience with SQL, .NET & Hadoop ecosystem. Able to understand and explore the constantly evolving tools within ecosystem and apply them appropriately to the relevant problems at hand. Designing and developing ETL (Extract Transform Load) workflows and reporting solutions in Agile methodology using Microsoft SSIS, SSRS, and .NET supporting data integration, operational reporting, and reconciliation analytics. Strong IT consulting experience in various data warehousing engagement, handling large data volumes, architecting big data environments.

Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques and software development in a team environment.

Requirements

Education- BE/ B. Tech/MCA/ME/MTech

Experience- 15+ Years

Foundational Skills

• Support multiple projects with competing deadlines.

• 24/7 Monitoring of production applications to make sure SLAs are met.

• Triage and Remediation of Job failures.

• Work with upstream/downstream applications for any delays or data issues.

• Ability to generate and submit the reports to senior management.

• Experience in working with a .NET implementation in production environment.

• Executing complex SQL programming and database performance tuning on Microsoft SQL Server to optimize batch processing, reduce reconciliation cycle times, and improve throughput of trade and settlement modules.

• Sound knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and experience with large SQL based systems.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Banking and Finance domain

• Big Data Analytics & Data Science concepts are added advantage.

• Awareness or Experience with Data Lake with Hadoop ecosystem

• Data Integration, Data Security on Hadoop ecosystem

• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies

• Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
