These skills are built through brilliant training, which is why we are looking for an experienced Sewing Instructor Lead to upskill our manufacturing teams in Maputsoe, Lesotho.

As a Sewing Instructor, you will play a key role in ensuring our sewing machine operators develop the skills they need to meet production targets and continue delivering high-quality workwear. Your role as a trainer is essential in getting our reliable, well-made workwear to our customers as efficiently as possible.

Beyond having the deep understanding of garment construction needed to teach technical skills, you will also track progress, provide clear and accurate reports and solve any challenges that affect our team’s performance.

As our new Sewing Instructor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Teaching garment production processes through clear demonstrations and hands-on guidance.
• Communicating effectively to explain processes in an easy-to-understand, motivating way.
• Ensuring trainees fully understand every step of each sewing process from start to finish, stepping in to provide one-on-one support when needed.
• Planning ahead to prepare for the next day’s training, and adapting training methods as needed.
• Monitoring each operator’s progress and providing clear, accurate reports to ensure continuous improvement.
• Signing off operators once they’ve mastered the required skills.
