About You and this Role

As a Senior Sales Specialist to be located at Navi Mumbai, India, you will be responsible for delivering profitable revenue growth, margin expansion, customer retention, and new business development within an assigned portfolio of customers, products, markets, or geographies. The role works closely with customers and cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, execute commercial strategies, and deliver an excellent customer experience. Success requires strong commercial acumen, customer focus, relationship management, negotiation skills, and disciplined execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans aligned with business priorities and market opportunities.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer information using CRM and other commercial tools.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of customers and develop account plans to deliver volume, revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for share gain, new business development, and innovation commercialization.
• Develop and execute sales plans aligned with business priorities and market opportunities.
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, pricing execution, and contract management activities in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, TS&D, Product Management, Pricing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Channel Partners to deliver business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer developments, and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Coordinate resolution of commercial, service, quality, supply, and pricing issues to ensure a superior customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with Dow commercial processes, business policies, and legal requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and deliver business growth.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix and cross-functional environment.
• MBA or advanced business qualification is preferred.
• Experience in paints and coatings, silicones, adhesives, sealants, elastomers or related industries is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Technical Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Commercial, Marketing, or other customer-facing roles.
