A large, complex and diverse organization consisting of Deposit & Payment Operations, Client Advisory Services, Enterprise Fraud Operations, Enterprise Loan Operations and other key operation functions. The team supports strategic planning, business management, governance, executive reporting and decision support.
The Senior Process Manager - EO Business Planning, Strategy & Support serves as a strategic partner to Enterprise Operations senior leadership and is aligned to the Business Planning, Strategy & Support function in the EO in the US. They will be responsible for providing business management, planning, governance, reporting, and analytical support across strategy, planning, finance, and operational initiatives for the Enterprise Operations organization. This role develops executive presentations, conducts research and benchmarking, supports planning processes, manages business reviews, and delivers actionable insights that enable leadership decision-making. The role plays a critical part in translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, driving performance management, supporting organizational governance, and ensuring effective execution of business objectives. The successful candidate will provide overall strategic and operational support to Enterprise Operations leadership teams while leading reporting, forecasting, business planning, and performance management activities that contribute to organizational growth and operational excellence.
Enhanced Key Deliverables (Duties & Responsibilities)
Strategic Business Planning
Develop and maintain short-term and long-term business plans for Enterprise Operations aligned with organizational objectives, strategic priorities, and market trends.
Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate strategic initiatives and business opportunities.
Translate strategic goals into actionable execution plans with clear milestones, governance mechanisms, and performance measures.
Support annual planning, operating reviews, resource planning, and business prioritization activities.
Support business case development, investment analyses, and strategic assessments.
Executive Presentation & Communications Support
Develop executive presentations, briefing materials, board content, leadership reports, and strategic communications.
Create compelling visualizations, executive dashboards, and concise business narratives that communicate key insights effectively.
Prepare executive-ready materials for business reviews, governance forums, strategic planning meetings, and leadership discussions.
Establish and maintain presentation standards, reporting templates, and communication frameworks.
Translate complex business information into concise and impactful messaging for senior stakeholders.
Research & Benchmarking
Conduct industry, competitive, market, and best-practice research to support strategic decision-making.
Analyze emerging trends, business developments, and strategic opportunities impacting organizational priorities.
Develop benchmarking studies comparing operational performance, organizational practices, and industry standards.
Prepare leadership insight reports and strategic recommendations based on internal and external research.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and business growth.
Business Reviews & Reporting
Lead and support Monthly Operations Business Reviews and executive reporting processes.
Consolidate business inputs from Finance, HR, Operations, Analytics, Product Management, and other functional teams.
Maintain executive dashboards, reporting artifacts, scorecards, and performance reporting frameworks.
Oversee delivery of accurate, timely, and comprehensive reports covering financial performance, operational KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
Ensure quality control and governance standards are applied across reporting deliverables.
Develop standardized reporting templates and frameworks that improve reporting consistency and accessibility.
Analytics & Strategic Support
Perform ad hoc analyses supporting strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and business priorities.
Analyze business performance across revenue, costs, productivity, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership supporting strategic decision-making.
Track strategic action items, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and implementation progress.
Support governance forums by maintaining documentation, action logs, decision trackers, and process materials.
Monitor strategic initiative execution and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Forecasting & Financial Planning Support
Partner with Finance teams to develop financial forecasts, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Support annual operating plans and long-term business planning activities.
Conduct variance analyses and monitor performance against budget and forecast targets.
Integrate business performance metrics and strategic assumptions into forecasting activities.
Provide analytical support for workforce planning, investment decisions, and resource optimization initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Executive Support
Serve as a key partner to executive leadership, Finance, HR, Operations, Analytics, Product Management, and other functional teams.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment between planning, reporting, and business priorities.
Present business insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to leadership audiences.
Anticipate stakeholder requirements and proactively deliver decision-support materials and analysis.
Facilitate collaboration and communication across multiple business units to drive organizational alignment.
Exceptional multitasking and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, synthesize large volumes of information, and serve as a key bridge between global teams and stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead and develop a small team supporting business planning, reporting, and analytical initiatives.
Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
Promote continuous improvement, analytical rigor, and operational excellence across the team.
Support capability development through training, knowledge sharing, and best-practice adoption.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs while balancing team priorities and workloads.
Updated Functional Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in Banking & Financial Services across Strategy, Business Planning, Finance, Consulting, Operations, or related functions, with exposure to senior stakeholder engagement.
Proven experience supporting executive leadership through strategic planning, governance, executive reporting, business reviews, and leadership communications.
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis, including market research, benchmarking, and competitive assessments.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, drive business transformation, and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency.
Experience in analytics, research, and data-driven insights is desirable.
Highly proactive self-starter with exceptional multitasking, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, capable of independently driving outcomes in a fast-paced global environment.
