À propos de ce poste Senior Material Planning Program Manager, Supply Chain chez Amperesand
Company Overview
Amperesand is reinventing how the world powers its most critical systems.
We are facing a once-in-a-generation opportunity for infrastructure disruption. Electricity demand is skyrocketing, driven by AI factories, electric vehicles, and modern industrial growth. Energy supply is shifting to incorporate a more diverse mix of resources – including solar, gas, and batteries – at a massive scale.
And yet the power infrastructure behind our latest mega-projects hasn’t meaningfully changed in nearly 100 years. Supply chains for today’s infrastructure equipment can’t match the pace and sophistication of critical energy projects. Amperesand is building hardware and software that rewrites this broken power infrastructure playbook to support a new era of energy abundance.
We’ve built a new class of intelligent, software-defined power infrastructure products leveraging a decade of advanced medium voltage Solid State Transformer research that’s now ready for commercial deployment.
Our products and solutions go far beyond the capabilities of traditional electrical equipment. We make power systems that are faster to deploy, dramatically smaller and more efficient, and capable of supporting modern, dynamic energy needs for tomorrow’s most demanding energy consumers.
Scalable in-house advanced manufacturing capability is our foundation for meeting timeline and quality expectation to serve infrastructure customers around the world.
Amperesand is led by breakthrough energy hardware development veterans and funded by top tier investors who share our vision of building a category-defining energy technology company.
With hubs in San Francisco, Reno, and Singapore, our global team is laser focused on building foundational technology to solve the most pressing problems in power infrastructure at scale.
Join us in building the power foundation of the future!
Amperesand is building next-generation power infrastructure systems for Data Centers, EV charging platforms, and future energy applications. Our systems combine advanced power electronics, embedded controls, and scalable energy architectures to rethink how power is converted, controlled, and deployed.
About the Role
Every SST we ship depends on hundreds of components arriving on time, in the right quantities - across a supply base that's ramping as fast as our product roadmap. This role sits inside our Supply Chain organization and owns the planning discipline that keeps that possible: translating engineering schedules and customer demand signals into a material plan the whole company can build against.
What You’ll do
Material Planning & Execution
- Own end-to-end material planning across our BOMs - demand/supply reconciliation, buffer and safety-stock strategy, and purchase prioritization that keeps pace with engineering change
- Translate program schedules into concrete, current material plans; know at any given moment what's on track, what's at risk, and what needs to move
- Continuously monitor supplier lead times, MOQs, allocation, and other risk
Supply Readiness & Risk
- Partner with GSMs and SIEs to close gaps before they threaten a build
- Track program-level clear-to-build status and drive the cross-functional work to unblock it before it becomes a hard stop
- Own the material and inventory impact of supply impacting ECOs from assessment through implementation - quantifying exposure, and keeping the program informed of what's changing and why it matters
Systems & Scale
- Work with software team to build the planning tools, dashboards, and processes - spanning PLM, ERP, and MRP - that give Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing one shared, trustworthy view of material readiness
- Design for the business we're scaling, not just the build in front of us.
What You’ll bring
- 5-8+ years in material planning, program management, or supply chain roles supporting complex hardware, with hands-on ownership of large, multi-hundred-line BOMs from development through ramp
- Strong working knowledge of demand/supply planning, supplier readiness, and the cost/material impact of quality and engineering changes
- Experience standing up planning or supply-readiness processes from scratch - not just operating inside systems someone else built
- A track record of spotting problems weeks before they land, and driving resolution across engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine interest in shaping how a fast-growing hardware company plans and scales
- BS in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field
Please note: This role requires working on-site 5 days a week. We do not offer hybrid or remote options.
Onsite Collaboration Rationale:
Given the highly collaborative and cross-functional nature of hardware, embedded systems, and product development, in-person partnership across engineering and product teams is critical to enabling rapid execution, technical alignment, and successful development outcomes.
Why Join Amperesand
- Work on next-generation power infrastructure systems
• High ownership and visibility
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Opportunity to shape future products and infrastructure
• Fast-moving startup environment
