The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager, Pancreatic Cancer Marketing will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives based on the brand strategy, marketing strategy, and tactical plan to support launch readiness and post-launch commercialization of Revolution Medicines’ innovative oncology therapies in Japan.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, this position will translate assigned marketing tactics into actionable execution plans and independently drive a range of initiatives from planning through execution and ongoing management, including customer engagement, promotional programs, digital initiatives, sales support activities, and promotional materials.

The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Sales, Medical Affairs, Training, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance, as well as external partners, to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives in a timely manner while managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. This position will also leverage insights from customers, the field, and program results to continuously improve marketing execution and contribute to the effective implementation of the brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing Execution: Translate the brand strategy, marketing strategy, and tactical plan into specific marketing initiatives and independently drive assigned initiatives from planning through execution.

• Promotional Execution: Execute assigned marketing tactics, including healthcare professional promotion, customer engagement, digital initiatives, and sales support activities, in a timely manner and with a high standard of quality.

• Promotional Materials and Content Development: Develop promotional materials for healthcare professionals, sales support materials, digital content, and other relevant assets, and drive the end-to-end process from planning and production through internal review and approval, deployment, and revision.

• Launch Readiness Execution: Drive the preparation and execution of assigned marketing initiatives, promotional materials, sales support tools, and other activities based on the marketing plan in preparation for product launch.

• Training Support: Partner with Training to support the development and delivery of training content to enable sales representatives to effectively execute brand key messages, utilize promotional materials, and implement marketing initiatives.

• Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination for assigned marketing projects to ensure effective and timely execution.

Required Skills, Experience and Education 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

• 5+ years of marketing experience in oncology, particularly in pancreatic cancer.

• Experience in launch readiness and post-launch marketing activities for prescription pharmaceutical products.

• Experience managing the end-to-end process for marketing initiatives, including promotional materials and speaker programs, from planning and development through internal review and approval and deployment.

• Experience developing promotional materials and content across multiple channels, including digital channels.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple internal functions and external vendors to successfully drive projects.

• Strong knowledge of the Japanese pharmaceutical market and relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the promotion of prescription pharmaceutical products.

• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• High level of Japanese language proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional business environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience launching new products in oncology.

• Experience working in a biotechnology company or in the start-up phase of a new business or organization.

• Ability to work effectively in English in a professional business environment.
