What is the opportunity?

Join RBC's Corporate Real Estate team to lead integrated program delivery across your assigned region. In this strategic role, you'll manage end-to-end planning, development, and delivery of complex real estate projects from inception through execution. You'll serve as a key interface between business units and CRE Centers of Excellence, driving solutions that enable RBC's core business, optimize costs, and support our climate commitments while ensuring all projects remain within approved scope, schedule, and budget.

What will you do?

• Lead and manage end-to-end planning, development, and delivery of initiatives across your region, ensuring governance aligns with RBC framework and strategic objectives.

• Provide real estate expertise and direction on regional initiatives, managing project/program delivery in partnership with the regional Director, IPD.

• Manage relationships with key business unit leads and service partners, identifying and negotiating with stakeholders to achieve program objectives and deliver expected client service levels.

• Develop and maintain frameworks to effectively negotiate and manage property relationships while continually assessing location needs aligned with business strategy.

• Support businesses in securing or renewing leases by working with the Transaction COE and leveraging expertise in regional market conditions, building codes, and lease obligations.

• Ensure operational requirements and quality standards are incorporated throughout strategic development, planning, and project execution, while identifying ongoing optimization initiatives.

• Establish governance structures and manage risk through consistent application of controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory obligations.

• Oversee matrixed teams of internal stakeholders and outsourced service partners, enabling cross-platform collaboration to maximize benefit to RBC.

• Assist in identification and delivery of savings in partnership with the BU, Procurement, service partners and suppliers.

• Manage business case modelling and submissions for strategic initiatives, working in collaboration with Strategy & Planning COE.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

• 2-4 years of Corporate Real Estate experience with at least 3 years in program and project management.

• Proven knowledge of project management processes including estimating, tendering, scheduling, and construction practices.

• Strong client focus, relationship management, and consultation skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent organizational and presentation abilities.

• Experience managing outsourced vendor relationships and matrixed organizations.

Nice-to-Have:

• Contract management expertise.

• Strong business acumen and financial management capabilities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with real estate sustainability and net-zero initiatives.
